“I love this little gem I stumbled upon on Pacheco Blvd, Martinez. My chicken burrito was very good and the 2 little bundles of fresh lime wedges and sauteed red onion w chopped jalapeño were a delicious surprise. I gambled on a small clamshell of Salvadoran cookies and I had to make myself stop eating them. Everyone who has tried them, likes them. They're not very sweet, which I like. Their jamaica is possibly the best Ive ever had.I look forward to my next trip to Martinez just to eat here again.“

Very good tacos. You really get snack tacos size. Don't underestimate the size, you will get full. I believe 6 would be plenty enough. You will definitely need a soda or drink to wash it down. Very satisfying. However, for $1 and snack tacos seems expensive. I suppose that's inflation as everybody puts it. Either way, very good and nice selections of other taco Tuesday selection.“

“Reasonably priced, cheaper than the other food trucks nearby. They are located in a parking lot near CVS and Dollar Tree, went on a Saturday evening and I am the only customer. I got a tripa burrito and steak burrito, both are good in my opinion. I believe I've been here before and tried the tacos. Fast service, they accept cards or cash. Plenty of parking, beware of your surroundings as oftentimes a lot of suspicious people walking in the area.“

“Taqueria La Plaza is a neighborhood gem!

My husband and I love walking here for lunch: He usually gets a burrito and I go between enchiladas and a breakfast burrito (which is offered ALL DAY!). There are so many meat choices! They throw in a bowl of chips and unlimited access to their salsa bar. I also enjoy their aqua fresca or horchata on occasion.

You can eat indoors or outdoors (both covered and sunny tables), or take your food to go.“

“Food was ok. Got the huevos rancheros. The refried beans were like a puddle of light brown with a scant amount of cheese- like a teaspoon. The star is the wonderful variety of veggies at the salsa bar. The place is functional, like a cafe. The people work hard to cut and prepare the food and clean the place. I hope they provide better quality of entrees. Like real beans in the refried beans. Place was empty.“

“Love the salmon and my new fav is the dynamite shrimp bowl!! Rice cooked perfectly, shrimp are perfectly cooked and just the right spicyness and bright flavors to perk it up! Delicious! My dad in law LOVES the fish and chips! Says one of the best ever and he’s in his 80’s and from the south so must be good ! Lol 😊 only bad thing to say is the parking in the center it’s in is awful! “If you arrive early you can find fresh barbecue and belly plus a consommé with chickpeas that is not very greasy but very tasty.

It seems to me that it is the flavor that is closest to the original Hidalgo barbecue and that it is sold every Sunday in some places in Mexico City or on the roads that lead to the city.

The service is a little slow because they have a lot of people and they have a musical group which I don't know if it's a good idea for a Sunday morning. But in general they have good service and good food.“

I walked in mistaking it for Vallejo Brewing Company right after they closed for the night, but the menu was so enticing I had to come back during business hours!

The red beans and rice with Cajun shrimp is an INSTANT comfort food go-to, and not to start drama, but a certain barbecue place on the block could learn a thing or two about making amazing cornbread from this chef! The perfect, fresh baked, sweet and buttery portion of cornbread I've had since my mom's recipe.

The $7 cocktail special was also amazing, not too powerful but not so watered down you couldn't feel it!

The gal working the counter was sweet as can be both times I've been in as well.

“Taco bell. If you like taco bell this is a good taco bell. Not sure how else to describe it. If you haven't been to a taco bell this doesn't compare to your favorite Mexican food spot, but they make things quickly, and those things are tasty, and very similar to the Mexican food you would expect, as well as a few unique items. There are lots of fun textures on some of those items as well (adding crunch is usually their go to thing). I recommend it.“

“I tried write my review through the survey on receipt but it wasn't working.. So I wanted to share my experience here. I came in the morning and ordered breakfast sandwiches, unfortunately I was disappointed with the eggs being over cooked and just not tasting as they normally do. I called right away and spoke with manager Sarah, she assured me that I could come back in anytime for replacements. I've heard this before from other places without any resolution but I figured I'd give them the opportunity to make it right.. I took them up on the offer after school pick up, except I really wasn't in the mood for eggs after the bite from earlier, employee Alexis went way above and beyond to make things right for us! Giving us even more than what I had asked be the replacement! Besides being very thrilled with the food given, I was even more impressed with Alexis, her attitude and understanding really made my day and the kids were happy with extra fries and nuggets she gave. We enjoyed our meal inside, and on the way home we passed a hungry man and his equally hungry dog, we had our fill and we were able to feed them as well. Good karma making its way around I guess, felt good being treated kindly and to pass the kindness along. Thank you Sarah, Alexis and the rest of the crew for treating us so amazing today! “I have been busy needed something fast, and cheap. I got the tacos, they were horrible, but I did a review from the receipt and the owner/ manager offer to make them correctly. Fantastic! Almost like back in the day crispy and lettuce with sauce. It's the Lil things that make us our break us. Thank you for making things right. I will be back every so often giving free unsolicited advice to management.“
