Maybe its just me.. I visit quite often and try a different pastry each time. They all look good, but the texture and flavor is always underwhelming.

I love this bakery, specially the honkaido bread I believe it's called

Always understaffed after renovation. Takes half an hour to checked out an order.

The moment I walked in I was already being discriminated. This employee got upset just for me walking he kept looking at me and kept telling the employees something about thinking I was stealing or something treating me as if I was a bum even tho I came in dressed well this is him

This location is fantastic! The selection of fresh bread and pastries is always amazing. I love grabbing a tray, a pair of tongs, and picking out my favorites—the brioche bread and egg tarts are absolute must-tries. Everything is super fresh and fluffy. The line can get a bit long during peak hours, but it moves quickly!

Plenty of parking easier than Mira mesa location to congested. National city was better

I picked up a pastry from here while I was out running errands, and it ended up being a nice little treat. The texture was soft and fresh, with just the right amount of sweetness without feeling over the top. You could tell it hadn't been sitting around all day. The filling had good flavor and paired well with the pastry itself. Not the most amazing pastry I've ever had, but definitely one I'd order again. Service was friendly too, which made the experience even better. Overall, a solid spot if you're craving something sweet.

It's a great place to eat, at anytime. Great deals all day. Great Service with a SMILE. MY FAVORITE WAITRESS IS JEANINE. I'VE BEEN GOING THERE FOR DECADES.

I bought 12 milk puddings on 05/26/26 and majority of them had a different filling from milk pudding. When my kids started complaining about the taste I opened it and noticed as shown in the picture. You can see the difference between the actual milk pudding and whatever the other one is.

Came in after work around 530pm and the bakery shelves were empty. Very disappointing. You would think at a time when most people are getting off work they'd have better selections in stock. Cashier said they wouldn't be bringing out more items till about 9am the following day, unbelievable to have business hours open until 9pm.

Beyond basic not sure what all the hype is.maybe the drinks i haven't tried those, but the cakes and cheesecake are average at best
