because the Sushi rice is awful, no umami, flavor is too bland, waitress and cashier are unpleasant and all in hurry, you should improve the flavor and serve authentic taste of japanese, i will never reccomend and stop eating in your restaurant
The food is amazing, as is the service. My family have eaten there since they opened in 1986. They were small then, when Swenson's ice cream used to be next door. My favorite dish was the champon noodles. It still tastes the same!!
Chula Vista roll was crunchy and delish! ❣️

Based on multiple reviews, Hanamichi Japanese Restaurant offers the most extensive menu of Japanese cuisine, including sushi, ramen, udon, soba, teriyaki, katsu, curry, tempura, poke, fried rice, grilled fish, and gyoza. The food is delicious and satisfyingly delicious. The Thai tea does not leave your mouth feeling dry. Plates can get kind of pricey but are relatively big plates. Great lunch specials, good bento boxes, good sushi, and good soups are available. The service is always excellent, with a very friendly and helpful staff. The food comes out quick. The place has a Japanese vibe and feels super authentic. Many guests have been coming here for many years, ever since it was called HANAOKA’s, and the same good food and excellent service continue. Happy Hour is all day.
