They invited me saying that it was a little place that served delicious homemade food. And they were right. We ordered 3 different dishes and all 3 were delicious. I listened to the customers arrive, greeting Valentin very happy and asking for their dishes before sitting down: "a beef broth, very hot, please." Another customer: "My mole enchiladas." Very quiet atmosphere, they treated us very well, Valetin was very attentive. And the food was excellent, very delicious.. Recommended..

This is a really cool little Mexican sit-down restaurant in the corner of a strip mall on Sweetwater. It’s tucked in the corner behind the Super Sergio’s. It’s called “La Original Casa del Taco,” or “Casa del Taco” for short. They offer a wide range of dishes, from tamales to enchiladas to menudo.
I ordered three TJ-style tacos: carne asada, adobada, and birria. They also served complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was really good—super fresh and flavorful, and well-balanced so it wasn’t overly tomato-y (a failing of next door Super Sergio’s).
All the tacos were great, though I think I liked the carne asada and birria the most. The birria was super tender and fell apart in my mouth. The extra hot salsa they served me was pretty good, too, but I actually liked the mild’s flavor a bit more.
The woman waiting on me was super nice too! She was friendly and thoughtful. Overall it was a great experience. Oh, they also have free Wi-Fi!

The cook in the kitchen, who you never see, is cooking home style Mexican food and a few of his family favorites from the Yucatan peninsula. Their red and green salsas are so perfected that few can match theirs. I would rate them with the top destinations in America for authenticity.

Best place for chimichangas! They have some great authentic Mexican food here. The staff and manager is always friendly when we come in, love coming here and would highly recommend the food!

The food is bad... I had some golden meat tacos, the meat was spoiled, and the sour beans
It's a shame that I saw many older adults come and go... because eating like that can make people sick. I don't recommend it at all
