Ohana Hawaiian BBQ

It was our first time there and by far this is the worst hawaii food we’ve ever had. First off, the service was terrible, we asked questions and responses were not helpful and he was rude.i should have walked out like I wanted too. The food was as bland as it looked. The chicken was tough, the short ribs were tough as well and everything lacked flavor. The Mac salad needed seasoning and tasted like it had some type of fish in it, it was gross. This place makes L & L food look like high end Hawaiian food. We asked for sauces and you’d swear we were trying to get the teeth out of their mouth. Needless to say, we will never back here again.

Order katsu chicken on 5/25/26 the food was mid tasting alot of chicken but did not appreciate cashier pushing tip button, not cool at ALL

Hands down one of the BEST Hawaiian Food Spots in Cali. Definitely Recommend, and BEST mac salad on the Planet!! one of my favorite spots to grub at.

The one star is for the fried fish. The mixed combo was bad. All the meat tasted boiled and rubbery. I wouldn't recommend nor return. I guess im accustomed to h-bbq being grilled and have that nice smokey taste.

We had the Loco Moco & BBQ chicken plate. Wish the eggs were on top of the gravy. Did not come as pictured on menu but none the less it was still absolutely delicious. Our first time here. Will definitely order these dishes again

YOU GOTTA TRY THIS!!!! Best Hawaiian in San Diego! I litterally have tried every hawaiian bbq place and this one was perfect. Chicken was perfectly cooked, macaroni salad is different I like the macaroni they use perfectly made love the texture… and of course cant forget their chili sauce, I usually ask for Siracha but what they had was better.
