I see all these comments about how they got there at 10:28 pm demanding service … really? Use common sense. This shop is great and is probably #1 in sales in all SD. Been coming here for 5+ years. The staff makes magic back there. If you want full service u probably need to spend more than 10 dlls at some other sit down establishment.
Popeye's Louisiana chicken is my favorite places for a good chicken sandwich. Their food is always consistent and delicious, their team members are always friendly and efficient, and their restaurant is simple and clean. Their prices are very reasonable,, around $5.00 for a chicken sandwich that has a VERY generous portion of chicken. Their strawberry shortcake muffins are also very yummy! Grabbed some food for my parents. The fish sandwich was very good according to my mom. The fried were hot and tasty. My dad was not pleased with the wings but they were full of flavor. The staff were very informative about the process and cooking times.
