On my recent 2-day visit to Nevada City, I came to this shop 3 times! Not even joking. I figured one visit would be enough, but then I ate everything and had to keep returning. not often you come across an ice cream/chocolate shop combo that works. This place is the exception. Really nice welcoming vibe and even better sweets. Super clean as well. Thanks for the hospitality!!
We skipped dessert at the Stone House Pizza restaurant in favor of the Chocolate Shoppe because the wife loves to try local versions of Rocky Road bricks from the region. This shoppe is family owned and run which typically means that the flavor of chocolate we could get here may be unique to this establishment. The shoppe is located on the right side of the street heading up the hill in Nevada City's Pine Street in Downtown.
