“Do you like chicken? How about pho? If so, this place is right up your alley! This seems like a newer location of a branch originally based in San Leandro (which I've never been to). It's in the same strip mall as a bunch of Asian restaurants and Marina Foods, so you have no shortage of options. However, I recommend coming here for these reasons: 1. Everything looks super new and clean! The decor, bathroom, and tables were all sparkling. I normally don't mind more cluttered hole in the wall type places but the clean interiors made me feel calm as soon as I walked in. 2. Note that they only serve chicken dishes. Which is fine, because I love chicken. I got the #1 dish which consists of steamed chicken in a big bowl of pho with all the usual toppings. It also came with a delicious ginger scallion concoction which was flavorful and generous. The chicken was piping hot and fresh, and the noodles and soup were nice complements to it. 3. Service was great! They speak both Mandarin and Cantonese so if you want to order in one of those languages, you can (of course English works too). No wait, and while the restaurant is small, like I mentioned above everything is nice and orderly so there's no chaos. Very nice environment to enjoy a warm meal in, especially on a cold day. I'm coming back to try their plethora of drinks! (What's available: Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, soy milk, various unique sodas)“
“Husband asked if I wanted something from here, I said but it's chicken. And then he showed me their NOT chicken menu, substitute with cauliflower but with the same seasoning, I said yes! Chose the Cauli Slider with fries, heat level medium. The Asian spice level in me didn't taste anything spicy, a reason to order again but heat level hot next time. Husband enjoyed his medium and mild tender and slider. Cheese fries order was generously filled with cheese. Pic shown of the Single Cauli Tender, sliced on the side, thick cut cauliflower. “After hours of shopping around the Great Mall, this is my go-to place to grab a bite from. As a vegetarian, I was pleased to find good options on the menu since I'm aware they're famous for their chicken. The Oyi-Shi mushrooms and fried tofu are amazing! So crispy and flavorful from the seasoning and the dipping sauce that comes with the tofu. I don't know how the tofu is so soft under the fried exterior, but it's delicious. I also recommend trying out their drinks. The mango smoothie was my favorite, almost like a mango slushy and very refreshing.“
“Such a guilty pleasure! It's in an odd location to buy fried chicken bur the chicken was hit, crispy and moist inside! It's take out only so no comments on the service. Location was a 7/11 type store. The other KKC I've been to was in a gas station. You don't go here for the ambiance or how the place looks. You come here to fill a craving. Food was good. The cornbread was good. I'll pass on the fries next time. I'll come back again when I'm craving fried chicken.“

In my experience with many other restaurants, chicken has a tendency to either be over cooked or under cooked. bb.q Chicken in Milpitas delivered exactly what they promised, thoroughly cooked, tasty, juicy fried chicken. They offered several flavors to add on to the chicken orders. All the flavors sounded great but that particular day I was feeling like having spicy food so I chose the Red Chak Chak which is in powder like form and the chicken is rolled on the top half of the chicken. I was pleasantly surprised how good the spice and seasoning were. As for the French fries, I thought they were delicious as well. The real surprise was the pickled radish and how yummy it was. It added a sweetness that enhanced the flavor to the already delicious chicken. Customer service was excellent!!! The host was very accommodating and patient as I could not make a flavor choice for the chicken. He politely explained in detail all of the tastes individually which helped me make up my mind. Again Red Chak Chak is a bit spicy .“

We usually get one of the combos that consists of Korean fried chicken, kimbap, and fries. The fried chicken was delicious and packed with flavor and crunch! Kimbap was decent and fries are fries. “The food was actually really flavorful. This place only takes credit card and you have to use a kiosk to order, they do not take your order for you. You can tell most people order online in advance. It did take a little longer than I expected to get my food as there is no seating inside, only outside. So you have to just stand there until it's ready - it was about 10 minute wait and there were 3 people ahead of me. So it's not going to be a fast in and out like a Chipotle.Overall the food was really good with average/medium sized portions. I would recommend this to others if you are in the mood for some Thai!“

The salads are great and the dressing is delicious.The fried chicken dinner was great too, though the biscuit was a bit dry (still tasty though). The sauce it was served with was super good and spicy.It’s a little pricey but they have a decent rewards system and often send coupons via text if you sign up. It’s probably the best chicken you can get late night in the peninsula, and the location is pretty easy to get to. Plus I love that you can get anything from their multiple in-house restaurants in the same order. Would definitely recommend!“
