I believe this is the 3rd and newest Hay Tea location in the Bay (not sure if they are owned by the same owner because the quality tastes different at each one). I was a bit unsure about trying this new boba shop, but it pleasantly surprised me! The shop is so cutely decorated and really spacious, would be a nice hang out spot! I ordered a regular boba milk tea without boba, 100% sweetness, and 50% ice - it turned out to be the perfect balance of sweetness and tea flavor. Quick service on a late night, super spacious to hang out with friends and get some work done! I'd like to try a few more drinks before I rate how consistent they are, but I really liked my matcha with purple rice! A bit overpriced for the cup size IMO but popcorn chicken was good
