“While being a small restaurant (it's pretty much a kitchen only with outdoor seatings), the food is absolutely delicious! Arguably the best chicken Tikka masala I have had in San Jose. I have brought some of my friends here and even they had nothing but great reviews for this place.

Update: I can strongly say that the chicken tikka masala, chicken boti sizzler, and mango lassi at Zareen's are god-tier. I have taken many people (both Indians and non-Indians) and so far, I dont think I have met anyone yet who disagrees with me on this. It's soo good that one of my friends, who wasn't a fan of Indian food, got converted and loved Zareen's. I cant stress this enough, you need to go eat at this place when you get a chance.“

“I really love khan Karahi kabob’s authentic Peshawari Namakmandi Goat and chicken Karahi. The Chapli Kabob, Achari goat and Biryani are super good. I love their Lahore Cholay and willingness to make custom changes to orders as per customer’s demand. Highly recommend this place. The staff is friendly as well.“

“I've been going there for decades ever since my Pakistani friends brought me there. They have the best grilled chicken legs I've ever had. They look like Indian tandoori chicken but taste is vastly superior. They also have other Northern Indian/Pakistan things such as lamb (or mutton) curry, lamb brain, naan, etc but the one thing I keep coming back for are the chicken legs. They also serve chicken breast/wing but if you are a foodie you know the legs would taste better. The grill is just perfect as outside is slightly charred but inside is super tender.

Although my Pakistani friends love their naan I found that to be lacking because the naan is thicker than I'd like.

This place used to be the original and then they opened multiple stores including ones in Sunnyvale and a couple in the city but now only the Fremont and one of the SF locations are still operating.

There is no service as you basically grab what you need yourself. You also don't have to pay for tips unless you want to. Overall this is the highest quality Pakistani grilled chicken you can get even if you go to Pakistan (according to my friends).

There is usually no wait and I do recommend coming here to eat instead of go to because chicken pieces are grilled after you order and taste the best while hot.“

“Cozy, small restaurant. They recommended great options and was very nice and patient going over the menu. The lamb curry, chaar paneer, plain basmati rice, and garlic naan. Well-seasoned, just enough spicy level, and at a decent price.

The restaurant is self-service. You seat wherever you want and grab your own plates and utensils.
