“We went to Auburn axe throwing for my birthday last night and had the BEST experience!!! The gentleman running the desk was friendly and welcoming, showed us how to use the lanes and throw the axes. the people sitting at the bar area where super kind (seemed like regulars) the place was super cute and played great music and pricing was really reasonable! also my favorite is he has non alcoholic options and a good selection of beers and seltzers!!! we will definitely be back“

“Went to The Brass Tap last night for the first time and for my wife's early birthday celebration.

A few highlights:
1. Service and ambiance are fantastic, especially if you love sports. Service truly was the hero, but more on other good stuff and opportunities to come.

2. Drinks - My wife had a nice Chardonnay and I enjoyed one of the many fantastic brews on draft and in bottle. A small nit pick would be if you arrive during happy hour and last drinks just served outside of happy hour, as it was busy, let's not upcharge as if we arrived after happy hour ended.

3. Food - We ordered a small appetizer of loaded crinkle cut fries. If you don't like sour cream, make sure to ask for it to be left off, but bacon, cheese, and fries together were awesome. The Mrs asked for sliced jalapeños on top and wouldn't you know, they were freshly cut vs jar bought. Kudos and truly made the difference.

We moved into dinner and it didn't miss, in fact, my wife's soft tacos and my flat bread option were both very good. With the soft tacos, the chips and salsa (nice kick) were spot on!!

Not looking for an area to critique, but the restaurant could use some detail on the walls and a revamp of the falling apart and extremely dirty menus, but the outstanding service with a smile won over the visit.

Guess one last thing I would mention, as I overheard one employee try to explain the best they could do was window tint doing very little to step setting sun from blinding so many, would be to but rollable shades on all windows.

“For me, the yard house is a quick easy date night option for me and my lovely wife. There is ample seating so generally I have experienced short wait times. That said, it's never a bad idea to put a reservation in. The staff has been friendly from my experience. It's not a good place to go if you want a quiet evening, however It's a great place to go if you want a lively atmosphere and the ability to watch some sporting events. They have a large drink menu if that's your thing. I'm pretty simple in terms of my food tastes so I haven't tried any of the fancier plates. I am a burger and fries kind of guy and I have been pleased with what I have ordered.

Kid-friendliness: I would take my kids here. I have little ones so it's actually a great place because they can be loud and it isn't a problem due to the bustling nature of the restaurant.“

“Been here multiple times now. The bartender is so nice, Emmaline (i probably butchered the spelling). But she is absolitelt great.. I usually come for happy hour. After a couple of times she recognized me, remembered part of my preferences, and was just super nice.. The beers are good. The wings are amazing. So is pizza. And pasta. I've never tried something I didn't like here. Will keep coming back.

I do have to say though...Do not go on a Monday. The bartender that worked today (10/21) was so rude. Had an attitude the whole time. Barely said 2 words to me. Basically did the bare minimum to get her job done. Didn't even once check on me or if I like my food/drinks. I had to get her attention to get a second beer before the happy hour was done...she only checked on her regulars...but even with them I could tell she wasn't really chatty...don't really think she wanted to be there.“

“The food was fresh and delicious. My wife enjoyed the Chile relleno while I had the skirt steak and shrimp fajitas. The fresh made flour tortillas were amazing. Their house Margarita was outstanding. We loved the setting, colorful decor, and good service. We are grateful to have found such an exceptional Mexican restaurant and will find reasons to drive out here from Elk Grove.“

“Ordered 2 pizzas on Doordash, a pepperoni and Pete's combo and I was very pleased. The crust is on the thicker side but it's still airy and chewy, not too dense and just enough crispness. The ingredients were all fresh and the sauce was clean and bright. As far as the pizza is concerned, it's one of the best in our area“
