We went to Blue Fin for restaurant week, to try something new. This turned out to be a neighborhood gem right on PCH. We sat at the sushi bar. The food was prepared right in front of us and was excellent both in terms of presentation, flavor and quality of ingredients. The ambiance was great too, intimate but not crowded, and we were never rushed. We really enjoyed the restaurant week menu and will definitely be back to try some other creations. Took advantage of this week OC restaurant week promotion so here we went. This is the second time to be back. The food was fresh and very high quality, executed perfectly and so delicious. The dish presentations were so beautiful like Michelin style. Thanks for offering without cutting corners and taking pride 🙏🫶.
The $60 lunch omakase sounds like a good deal for a "high end" sushi restaurant, but it's not. It includes too many non-sushi dishes/fillers, and the fish tasted and looked like yesterday's. Definitely not worth $60 of food.
