“only there for 2 beers. service at bar was great. Not sure why...but you use the Touch tunes and it is at a lower volume than the house music playing.“

“Great time! Bartender Trish and Security Chemo make it a great time. I’d be back just for them 😜“
“The Lot was a delightful place to eat. It is attached to the luxury movie theatres so when ordering food you can even get a Slushie from the theatre if you want. The menu was extensive and had a couple of vegetarian items too. The service was great and they were very attentive. One of our favorite things was it was quiet enough to have conversations without raising our voices. Even the elderly in our party were able to hear with no trouble.“

“Beginning to end was great. Ordered the asada/steak fries, and wow . Best we've had so far. Their steak fries, nachos cheese, soft steak, and questions fresco topped on top made it all very impressive. Margaritas were also top notch. Super fast amd quality service by the servers and gentleman at the bar.
Looking forward to coming back!“
“Me and my hubby been docking boats or ferry-hopping our bikes to Balboa saloon since the seventies. Half the year we live in Newport, half Montana-where whiskey still hollers your name out there. This here's our bar, our heartbeat. Fourth we light it up, holidays on lock, pool tables bruised from our elbows, salt and lager thick as perfume. Ensenada-Newport race? Honey, we command this place like pirates. The Owner finally did somethin' right-floor don't grab my flip-flops, somebody's moppin'! Jeff's still king behind the bar, new gals laugh real, pour cold, TVs sharp as knives. Only hitch-get Cruisers to wing it over so we quit dodgin' Death Trap Balboa Boulevard. Five stars, fat tip, and girl-we're bringin' every neighbor, every sunburned neighbor's dog, every salty soul we love down here to share the buzz we just crashed into.“

“We went to Cruisers twice last week, for an NFL playoff game and a second time for the college football championship game. This is a great spot to watch sports! 3 huge TVs that cover the whole wall and many others scattered around the space. Nice open patio and lots of windows that can be open on a nice day and closed if it is chilly. The pizza is very good, and the gluten free crust pizza was also delicious. Crispy thin crust. Happy hour from 2-5pm weekdays is the way to go. 2 for 1 drinks and small happy hour menu. Outside of happy hour, the food and drink is rather expensive. I would definitely go back again to cheer on my favorite teams!“

“Charlie might be one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. Friendly, sharp, and genuinely good at his job. We liked the place so much we came back twice while we were in town.
I was craving a proper cheeseburger, and Charlie didn’t steer me wrong. Their OG charbroiled burger hit every note, simple, smoky, and perfectly done. Pair it with a cold beer, catch a game on the screen, and you’ll see why locals don’t give up their stools easily.
This place just feels right. The kind of bar Bourdain would have walked into, ordered a drink, and stayed for three.“
