The fries were crispy and seasoned well with shredded cheese on top and enough for two or three people. The salad came with generous amounts of grilled chicken, croutons, slice hard boil eggs, an avocado and tomatoes. I chose the citrus vinaigrette as my dressing and the salad alone was enough to keep me full throughout the day.“

The layout is so unique - when you walk through the "front door," you're still outside; stairs take you down to an outdoor patio with a beautiful large tree in the center. There is a bar out there, though it's been closed whenever I've been, probably because I've never gone during the summer. Once you've reached the patio, to the right is the real front door Lol. Step inside & you'll see a casual typical pub to the right, down a couple more stairs, windows will be open to the patio with favorable weather. To the left of the main entrance is a cozy, mahogany, more formal dining area complete with a fireplace. This layout alone is enough to enjoy a drink or dessert, but the food I've had was delicious, too. I love the "Black Bush Stew," which is a delicious beef stew (generous chuncks) with a dollop of mashed potatoes, 2 lamb chops & a shot of Black Bush whiskey! It's no longer on the menu, but I last went in February & our server was amazing - friendly, funny, & accommodating - & had it made for me anyway! “Pizza is some of the best. The Tandoori pizza is a must try. Delicious, spicy and unique. Crust is nice and crunchy. The buffalo chicken pizza is perfect for dipping in blue cheese. And my toddler says the cheese is the best pizza they have tried. Wings were good but not the star of the show. Server was very nice and attentive although she was pretty busy when we first got in. “I came for a short trip to Southern California and stumbled upon this micro brewery thanks to a Lyft driver !Just like one of the other reviews mentioned- this place is a hidden gem!When my friend and I pulled up to the outside we weren't sure to expect since it's inside an office plaza. We almost thought we had the wrong place. Once we were in however we were greeted by a warm atmosphere and found it to be really down to earth and fun. There are big tables and even board games in the back that you can play while sipping on some great beer.We were helped by Jes (Jessica) and she was awesome! I appreciate the windows that roll all the way up, allowing fresh air to come in. The bar is in the center and seating all around. TV's are all around so basically anywhere you sit, you have a view from all sides. Really good drinks and food. Our server was quick, attentive & really good at selling us all of her recommendations. Today I decided to have the Spinach Chicken Salad. They did a good job of not applying too much dressing on the spinach to make it soggy. The chicken was a tiny bit dry, but it was still good. My friend ordered the chicken wrap with onion rings. The onion rings are FIRE! Perfectly fried! Our server Ro was a total sweetheart, and we made it just in time for our show. Newport Beach itself is absolutely incredible and I wish we spent more time here I would have loved to stay overnight. While we were here we needed to eat so we obviously came to cabo cantina that is located right by the ocean. The place is awesome it reminds me of a Mexican bar. They had all you can eat tacos as it was Tuesday and the deal is just incredible I ate so many tacos I was so full when we left. They are amazing and they are the only reason to visit!Not much parking at all, they have a small lot but there is street parking if you arrive after the surrounding business have closed. Before that, you can find street parking. You just may have to walk a wee bit.As for food, they offer frozen pizzas at the bar and some chips. On certain days, they have a guy who grills, but I'm not sure what he offers or how it tastes. There is also a taco woman who offers a variety of dishes. I have had the tacos before, and they were good. Once she brought it pozole, it was my 1st time trying it and this started my journey to find the best pozole around.“
