“Pretty good flavors and seasoning. It tasted authentic. (I'm half Greek.) I really liked the tzatziki; surprised by the fresh cucumber flavor. They just added spanakopita made somewhere else; wondering if it's sourced from the same place C&K got it. I didn't get it this time. It's hard to beat my homemade. I'd love to hear people's opinion on that.

I ordered the beef/lamb gyro. By the time I added on the fries and drink, I should have ordered the gyro plate instead. Oh well, next time.

Iced tea is bottled Pure Leaf, meaning no refill. And this is a Pepsi place - yuck. There are 2 tractor juice choices.

“We're from out of state and went to Nick the Greek for dinner since it was right by our hotel. The food was delicious, restaurant was clean, and great service. I got the Lamb Gyro and it was spot on. They have a pretty large menu and a lot of great options for lunch and dinner. We'll definitely come back next time we visit and definitely recommend.“

Spot was a little crowded when I first got there a few people were waiting for their orders but once I got seated and started eating wowza, Crunchwrap was really easy to eat and stayed together well and the gyro stuff inside with lamb meat was delicious! “I ordered the cauliflower dish to go. The portion size was decent and the taste was fine however, I had requested no bag or utensils. When I got there, they had used an extra large bag for one small container. I carefully removed the staples so that there was no damage to the bag and it could be reused. However, the server said they could not reuse the bag and just threw it in the trash. Extremely wasteful and unnecessary and untrue.“

“I've been to many burger spots in my life, but I've never had a burger as good as the Chef Burger from Burger Bun. I'm talking perfectly seasoned beef, and delicious (but not overpowering) burger sauce, crisp vegetables, and the brioche bun is spectacular. There's no burger in Glendale that even comes close. The wings are also some of the best I've ever had and the homemade sauces are so, so tasty. The fries are perfect, and they have amazing milkshakes too. To top it all off, the service is ridiculously good, and the prices are fair. This is my go-to spot in town.“

“I have had Greek food but when I say this was the most beautiful salad I’ve seen!!! I forgot to add the dressing and it was still delicious, crisp veggies, perfectly pickled olives, that feta cheese was the perfect balance of tang and savory. “I’ve eaten at a lot of Mediterranean restaurants over the years, including well-known spots like Carousel Restaurant and Raffi's Place, and this place honestly stands out above many of them.

The food was incredible — no gimmicks, no overly trendy presentation, just genuinely well-made Mediterranean food with flavor that speaks for itself. Everything tasted fresh, balanced, and authentic.

I ordered the chicken lula plate with a side of beef kofta, while my child got the mantee and the pork chop plate. Every dish was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and satisfying from start to finish.

What impressed me just as much as the food was the staff. During our visit, they had to deal with a very rude family that was aggressively trying to get a free meal. The father was loud and disrespectful to the staff, even raising his voice at times. Despite that uncomfortable situation, the employees remained calm, professional, and incredibly respectful toward everyone else in the restaurant, including us. I've worked in the food industry so I know when someone is trying to get one over for a free meal and this family was a joke.

“It's a typical fast food place. I'm not a Greek food fan but I'm part of a group that goes there every Saturday night after an event. They guys are very nice and friendly which makes the difference in an industry where the product is the same.“

“Hook Kabob has wonderful Greek food. If you want it, they likely have it. The place is so cute and comfortable. You can dine there, get take away and they also deliver. We like to eat there. It is fun.

The service is very friendly and they treat you like a family member. They make sure the food is right the first time and you get a goodly amount. They are famous for their kabobs, but there are other great things to have.

Their salads, wraps and desserts are so good. They have great bread and their hummus is out of this world. It is so good and so fresh.

You will love their salmon kabob and their and their pork ribs are just perfect. All their sides are great. You can have a little or a lot. After all, you can always take some home, it heats up so well.

“I found out it was opened & when I got there as usual I had a HARD time making my mind up what to get THIS TIME!. I really like alot of the choices on the menu. So I'll list favorites..feta fries..greek salad Chicken Shawarma..grilled chicken.. Gyro ..Chicken & Beef Kabob.. cakamari... rice .. seasoned fries..of course HUMMUS .garlic fries..a few paninis. Chicken & BEEF ANGUS KABOBS COMBO PLATES ..BAKLAVA for dessert sandwiches but I never tried there burgers“

“I have a ritual to eat a chicken pesto sandwich with an energy drink here every time I close a deal. It's the most authentic Greek Food I've had in the City. It's the same kind of food that I was raised on so to me it's a comfort food and a reward.“

When being asked "where do you live" I tended to ask "in hotels". At my peak, I "shot" 250 shows a year. Will say: been there, saw and tasted it, and a lot, as I may say and much to the dismay of my doctor who is in my back to lose a few pounds. Quite a few, as I may add, which is why my wife and I walk ten thousand steps per day, where- and whenever we can - and explore a lot of new exciting places - places you may oversee when just driving by. While I love to share my experience with others, I am sometimes shocked how people use their "power of word" to down-rate amazing places because of minor incidents (in my all time favourite​ restaurant Le Petit Four on Sunset Plaza the owner was even called a racist as he refused to toast the (free) bread in his packed restaurant - they simply do not offer toasted bread, as no French​ place does, as I may add). Or I just read "Chicken piccata so over-salted I hope the dog enjoys the leftovers tomorrow, I brought home most of the dish." Did they speak to their service? How could the restaurant learn that something was wrong when patrons even have their leftovers​ boxed to take home? As a dog owner,​ I want to take the writer and shake him or her really bad and say "you give over-salted food to your dog? Anyone with a bit of brain understands this is a horrible idea...​ I hope you agree. So If I had the say on this portal, I would offer just to see ratings of my friends. So I would see what the ratings were by like-minded people. Sadly, I have no say. I try not to compare apples with oranges. A place like this simply does not compare to "The Ritz". At first,​ I assume that a restaurant is clean, they do not greet you with a gun - and they deliver whatever they promise. I do not give stars for things that are expected. In my rating scheme, three or more stars are awarded if they actually exceeded my expectation. Four, if I am sure I will come back. To achieve five stars, I must be willing to take a detour of thirty minutes or more to go again. Again, thank you for reading this.“

“It had been a while since I’ve been to this place. Visited frequently a while back, but it’s been a few years.

Came back again today and was not disappointed. Same flavor and quality that I was used to. I got the combo plate that comes with steak kebab, chicken, kebab, and Lula kebab. It also has rice, french fries, hummus, pita bread, and a salad.

As soon as you walk in, you feel that home feeling and you can tell everything is made with love. A husband wife combo run the joint and cook some amazing food.
