In life there are only a couple of locations I eat everyday; my mom’s kitchen, my neighbors kitchen, arthur’s kitchen, tanya’s kithcen, and pokitonik. I find comfort everytime I come here, whether it’s friendly banter with Mary, or Sushi Burritos made by Arpi. I have been to multiple 5 star restaurants in my life, but nothing even compares to this glorious establishment. Where else can you combine the three of the greatest of things in life into one small building, hot cheetos, boba, and teriyaki chicken. Can’t think of one? That’s because you’ve never been to Poki. If there was a 8th wonder of the world, is would be located right here. I used to resent this building because they replaced Yogurtland, but no more. This is the greatest experience of my life.“

“The portions were phenomenal! Compared to a couple other poke places the pricing felt pleasing and the food was just as good. I got a sushi burrito and a bowl and that sushi burrito filled me up and I ended up saving the poke bowl for later. The staff was great! I don’t know who was serving me but he was extremely helpful since it was my first time there! I can tell the staff knows how to treat their customers well!! :]“

“This place is pretty good for quick food similar to L&L BBQ. The food came out quick, was fresh and the people working were nice and friendly. There is limited seating and parking. We ordered the Bento. 1 Teriyaki chicken and 1 katsu chicken. Both came with macaroni, 2 fried dumplings rice and some salad. Overall, this place is yummy for the price! Will come back again!“

Restaurant is on the smaller side (not many tables) but great if it's slow and/or if you want to pick up and eat at home or at a park. A little pricey but worth it!“

“Aloha Catering has an amazingly epic ambiance with cool decor and festive for holidays. The patio is very spacious and hands down best Hawaiian local joints in LA. Most Hawaiian restaurants are in Soith Bay OC San Diego and Bay Area. Fortunately we are blessed on Los Angeles to have a venue such as this.“

“All About Poke was a good Poke bowl experience, in my opinion. I had tried it before at other locations and remembered it being satisfactory for when I had a poke craving, and after a medium (three protein scoops) bowl I was again satisfied. Notably the salmon and tuna tasted quite fishy in some bites, and pineapple was the only standard fruit option besides mandarin orange slices (which I don’t want to try on poke, personally). But overall, they had most of the standard toppings like edamame, crab, cucumber, ginger, etc, their sauces were tasty, and they served a sizable portion of rice, fish and toppings all. All About Poke will hit the spot if you are nearby and need a nice fresh lunch.“

“I walked on a late night this was my first time trying this place out. My girlfriend wanted to try some chicken and shrimp order that she saw online. The service was fast didn't wait long and the restaurant was clean. The staff greated us, was friendly and courteous they answered my girlfriend's questions. “Lulubowls is absolutely delicious. As someone with Celiac, it’s so exciting to find a place with 100% gluten free menu options. This is the first time I’ve had potstickers in probably 10 years!The food is delicious, so full of flavor, and has great portion sizes. My partner and I both got the peanut butter teriyaki bowl with the bamboo rice and added pineapple and peanuts. Can’t emphasize enough how yummy they were! If you’re not sure what to get: try salmon + tuna over half rice/half greens with avocado, seaweed salad, edamame, masago, crispy onions, and spicy mayo + ponzu. It’s my go-to and it’s been perfect every time.“

“Checked out Anna's Fish Market right in the heart of DTLA and it was a solid spot. I like the location too since you're right in the middle of downtown with plenty of other restaurants and bars nearby. We got the fried red snapper and fried shrimp combo with fries, and both were really good. Nice crunchy batter without being too greasy. We also tried the fish & chips and grilled basa, but my favorite was actually the seafood chowder. Super hearty, packed with flavor, and had a nice kick to it. The ahi poke salad was solid too and gave us something a little lighter to balance out all the fried seafood. The inside isn't huge, but there's still a good amount of seating. Overall, really enjoyed the food and would definitely come back when I'm in Downtown again.“
