“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“Visiting from out of town, and happened to have dinner here. I liked that the place was easy to find, and had lots of parking. The service was top notch! Very attentive, quick, and friendly! Hubby had the lime and chili ramen and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. I had the yakisoba noodles with pork. The pork was lovely and well cooked. Very tender! But, for me, the sauce on the noodles was really heavy on vinegar. I was expecting/wanting a more savory/umami flavor. They were way too sour for my taste. I’m certain that there would have been a lot of other menu items I would have enjoyed! I wish I’d tried their miso ramen instead of the yakisoba.“

“This is hands down my new favorite sushi place. I will never be going back to Katsuya. Joe is quite an extraordinary chef. I used to frequent a sushi restaurant he used to work at, but it wasn't the same after he left. I'm so grateful that I was able to find him here after a good hunt. Highly recommend!!!

Vegetarian options: You can ask for whatever you want that doesn't contain any meat. Like cucumber rolls, avocado rolls, egg rolls, or just miso and an order of sticky rice.“

“Well priced, authentic Thai food! Lams looks like a small hole in the wall, but the food is extraordinarily delicious. I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

“Came here yesterday for the first time after visiting the Thai market across the street. We had a beef noodle soup and a Thai curry pizza, they were both really great! I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. Definitely recommended.The beef noodle soup was great too!!! The perfect touch of sweetness and spiciness. Super flavorful. And the folks here were super welcoming and nice! I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. Service was great, the place is absolutely amazing with live plants and I feel that is very romantic with very low light. However I noticed that on the menu the prices are totally different, please check the prices. As I usually like to get lunch specials, not because of price but, because I get small portions of everything including rice. Anyway the food was absolutely delicious, I ordered to go, mixed vegetables with pork, not lunch special which was very good. Price range with rice and Thai tea or other drinks about $25 to $30 bucks per person, or depends the dish, might be a little higher. Highly recommend this spot to everyone craving for some Thai food“

“So I’ve been in contact with cake money since last summer to plan my vow renewal “wedding” taking place in LA.Cake monkey never missed a beat as far as information, guidance, assistance, or execution. I am by far theeee pickiest person and was a bit nervous the entire planning of the wedding due to not physically being in LA until the weekend of. Due to still being on the east coast we could not even conduct a cake tasting. Thankfully cake monkey worked with me and set up a cake tasting packet for my sister in law to have.We fell for two flavors and could not chose 1 (German Chocolate & 9” Choco Malt). We decided to do a mixture of both flavors. When i tell you the day of my wedding the cake was not only simple, elegant yet beautiful (my theme) but ABSOLUTELY delicious. The way they mixed these flavors to where one did not overpower the other, but still gave you a pleasing and addictive want for more was just wonderful. I am very grateful for cake monkey and their professionalism, talent, and patience with how the run their business. Thank you guys very much.“

The ramen is consistently filling and fresh, with tender, flavorful chashu pork that melts in your mouth. Their bento box meals are generous and satisfying, with great portion sizes. The fish is impressively fresh since the staff mentioned it is delivered every morning, and you can definitely taste the difference.

The staff are sweet, professional, and always provide quick service, which makes Kita a perfect spot for a lunch break during work hours. I’ll definitely be coming back. It has become one of my local favorites. Highly recommend.“
