“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“I'm always looking for a new sushi spots in the valley. This looks like a staple and his highly rated. I haven't got a chance to explore everything fully, but they're tuna tataki is amazing, so is their baked salmon and their tuna on crispy rice. It's kind of hard to get a seat if you don't make a reservation, and that's the only thing I don't love, but completely understand.“

“It's down and dirty, proletariat BBQ at its finest. THAT's the secret weapon. Simplicity of design and meats that are properly seasoned, then smoked to perfection, with sauce that's on-point. I grew up eating BBQ. This place rocks.“

“Everyone at Lawless is a pleasure to work with. We host a weekly game night on Mondays and they always have the best food trucks and excellent brews (seasonal and standards). You can’t beat the laid back atmosphere. DOGS are allowed which makes it an even cooler place to just come hang out, meet friends, play games, or even do work. We love LAWLESS!“

“Spent Christmas morning here and the food and service was amazing! I ordered a burger with seasoned fries and was pleasantly surprised how amazingly delicious the food was! My husband got an omelette and steak and we were both very satisfied with our orders. Our server anticipated our requests before we even asked and the staff was very friendly overall. We also appreciated that the manager kept checking in with us to make sure service was great and it was. Overall I was surprised at how great the service and food was here. We originally only stopped by because it was the only restaurant open at the time but now me and my husband plan to make this a monthly visit because we had such a great experience here. In a day and age where it seems the hospitality industry is leaving the customer service experience behind, I am glad that restaurants like Denny’s still exist and are upholding the customer experience tradition alive. Bravo Denny’s we will see you again next month!“

“A must-stop whenever I'm in the Valley. LaVo specializes in Thai fusion pizzas. The Thai Curry Chicken and Pad Kapao Gai (Spicy Basil Chicken) are standouts, and the Tom Yum Pizza is worth trying too. Spice is adjustable, which is great for groups with varying tastes. They also have a full Thai menu with a solid range of noodle dishes if pizza isn't your thing. Consistently excellent.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. This is honestly the best pizza in the Valley. The ranch is amazing — I’m a huge ranch girl so that’s a big deal for me. I was also really surprised (in a good way) that they were open on Thanksgiving. I was by myself for the holiday, so being able to order something warm and good meant a lot. I am by far theeee pickiest person and was a bit nervous the entire planning of the wedding due to not physically being in LA until the weekend of. Due to still being on the east coast we could not even conduct a cake tasting. Thankfully cake monkey worked with me and set up a cake tasting packet for my sister in law to have.We fell for two flavors and could not chose 1 (German Chocolate & 9” Choco Malt). We decided to do a mixture of both flavors. When i tell you the day of my wedding the cake was not only simple, elegant yet beautiful (my theme) but ABSOLUTELY delicious. This is the pizza that is drawn in cartoons and sung about it children’s songs. I don’t have pictures but only fond memories of Pizza Man NoHo. We miss you so much.“
