“This is hands down my new favorite sushi place. I will never be going back to Katsuya. Joe is quite an extraordinary chef. I used to frequent a sushi restaurant he used to work at, but it wasn't the same after he left. I'm so grateful that I was able to find him here after a good hunt. Highly recommend!!!

“I am so excited I discovered this place and am excited to try more dishes! I got the papaya salad and sticky rice for lunch the other day and it was super fresh and authentic. Spicy in all the right ways! The woman taking my order was super friendly and appreciative of my business I will definitely be returning!“

“I’ve tried lots of ramen before and by far this is one of the best broths I’ve tasted. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I got the red miso ramen and it was great. The other ramens were also full of flavor and doesn’t have a water downed flavor. The staff was so freindly and nice. It gives a very personal and homey feel. Everything was nice and clean including the bathroom! They also give these free puff deserts that are filled with strawberry creme and it was a phenomenal ending. One of the staff even gave us free pocky’s as a small new year festivities.
This is definitely a lowkey, hidden spot that’s worth a try. Would recommend the ramen any day. I will be going back!“

“It's down and dirty, proletariat BBQ at its finest. THAT's the secret weapon. Simplicity of design and meats that are properly seasoned, then smoked to perfection, with sauce that's on-point. I grew up eating BBQ. This place rocks.“

“Really nice place with a great atmosphere. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing, cozy feel. It mixes new and traditional very well. The food is really good but it can be a bit bland. The margaritas are mixed really well and only $10. The staff is very friendly but they seem to often be understaffed and the service can be slow. We always have to repeatedly ask for things because they forget to bring them. Overall, it's a great place and every time we are in the valley and want Mexican food, we stop here.“

“Have lived in the area most of my life and somehow it took me this long to finally stop in. Maybe because I sleep most days and work all night, I'm never up early enough? Honestly with the state of the world, most natural disasters won't get me out of bed, but I will now actually set my alarm just to stop in for a loaded gyro and some hummus and pita. Super easy casual spot, I want to start going through their list of sandos after how perfectly balanced and filling their gyro was, but honestly it's going to be hard not to keep ordering this every time. Super fresh, garlicky hummus, great portions for the price on everything, and a quick easy lunch that doesn't break your wallet.

What else can you ask for? Don't sleep on this place as long as I did, and support every local business you can right now. I got a super fresh, filling, quick meal for less than I'd spend at McDonalds, and I'll probably be back here once a week“

“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“This was truly one of those rare customer service experiences you don’t often encounter. My spouse and I ordered delivery from NOHO Pizza Man, but unfortunately, the order didn’t meet our expectations, and we were left quite disappointed. After initially speaking with an employee and not making much progress, we received a call about 30 minutes later from the manager, Arno.
From the moment the conversation began, Arno was an absolute gentleman. He offered a sincere apology, listened attentively to our concerns, and handled everything with such professionalism and grace. We were genuinely impressed by his respectful and courteous demeanor.
Without hesitation, Arno refunded the full amount of our order, stating it was simply the right thing to do. That gesture, along with his exceptional customer service, earned our respect and appreciation.

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. The NoHo Cafe is a place I recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a good meal and to experience a “welcome home” feeling. “Came here yesterday for the first time after visiting the Thai market across the street. We had a beef noodle soup and a Thai curry pizza, they were both really great! I think I'll like their marinara sauce pizza more because the onions were a looooot for me. But if you love onions, this is the place!!!The pizza dough and crust was just ? great. Soft, pillowy. Definitely recommended.The beef noodle soup was great too!!! The perfect touch of sweetness and spiciness. Super flavorful. And the folks here were super welcoming and nice! I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

I am by far theeee pickiest person and was a bit nervous the entire planning of the wedding due to not physically being in LA until the weekend of. Due to still being on the east coast we could not even conduct a cake tasting. Thankfully cake monkey worked with me and set up a cake tasting packet for my sister in law to have.We fell for two flavors and could not chose 1 (German Chocolate & 9” Choco Malt). We decided to do a mixture of both flavors. When i tell you the day of my wedding the cake was not only simple, elegant yet beautiful (my theme) but ABSOLUTELY delicious. The way they mixed these flavors to where one did not overpower the other, but still gave you a pleasing and addictive want for more was just wonderful. I am very grateful for cake monkey and their professionalism, talent, and patience with how the run their business. Thank you guys very much.“

“I was eyeballing this place for months, finally went and got #1 pork chops and it was just as good as I hoped. 2 big pieces of pork, well done, fluffy soft rice, the pepper & tomato were juicy (everthin just needed a little salt). It's a small place with about 10 tables inside. Lady at the front was nice, wait time is min 15min & prices are fair for the big portion. Located on the corner with parking. Will definitely be back to try the beef kabob.“
