50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in North Hollywood

“I am vegan. When my family lived in North Hollywood Leonor's was my go to restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants that my entire family would frequent. We used to eat there before it was Leonor's (we are talking 1970s). I think in 1980s Leonor became the owner... I don't know who owns it now... if it is someone in the family or not.. however, the food is great. I miss it. It's been a while. When this heatwave in Los Angeles cools off I will go and order lunch... Hopefully I recognize a face or two.“

“Visiting from out of town, and happened to have dinner here. I liked that the place was easy to find, and had lots of parking. The service was top notch! Very attentive, quick, and friendly! Hubby had the lime and chili ramen and really enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. I had the yakisoba noodles with pork. The pork was lovely and well cooked. Very tender! But, for me, the sauce on the noodles was really heavy on vinegar. I was expecting/wanting a more savory/umami flavor. They were way too sour for my taste. I’m certain that there would have been a lot of other menu items I would have enjoyed! I wish I’d tried their miso ramen instead of the yakisoba.“

“The sushi fish was fresh, and the sushi rice was delicious! As someone who frequents sushi bars in LA for some nigiri and hot tea, Chiba has the best ambiance and best tasting nigiri sushi.

My favorite was the mackerel, yellowtail, and unagi.

I've also ordered donburi here, and it comes very close to the donburi I had in Japan.

Been coming to Chiba for years now. Hands down it's my favorite sushi spot for nigiri in LA.

“The sushi was on point. I had a caterpillar roll. The ingredients were fresh and I was full from the size of the roll! Also, it was quite a deal too as I had dinner on a Wednesday. Currently, Monday through Friday the restaurant is offering 20% off.“

“Spent Christmas morning here and the food and service was amazing! I ordered a burger with seasoned fries and was pleasantly surprised how amazingly delicious the food was! My husband got an omelette and steak and we were both very satisfied with our orders. Our server anticipated our requests before we even asked and the staff was very friendly overall. We also appreciated that the manager kept checking in with us to make sure service was great and it was. Overall I was surprised at how great the service and food was here. We originally only stopped by because it was the only restaurant open at the time but now me and my husband plan to make this a monthly visit because we had such a great experience here. In a day and age where it seems the hospitality industry is leaving the customer service experience behind, I am glad that restaurants like Denny’s still exist and are upholding the customer experience tradition alive. “It's down and dirty, proletariat BBQ at its finest. THAT's the secret weapon. Simplicity of design and meats that are properly seasoned, then smoked to perfection, with sauce that's on-point. I grew up eating BBQ. This place rocks.“

I ordered 9 meals for a group of friends and on pick up it was ready on time, packaged beautifully and still very warm. Every meal was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Just an incredible, friendly, quality Thai restaurant. I've been ordering from Lams since before Covid and it never seizes to impress. Do yourself a favor.“

“Have you ever entered a business and immediately feel like you just walked into your home where family is waiting to greet you? That was the very feeling I had when I stopped by the NoHo Cafe today. I knew the food was good as I used the delivery service before. Today I decided to visit the Cafe and I promise I’ll continue going frequently. The food is delicious but what won me over was the welcome and love you experience when you walk in the door. The staff is amazing... the Cafe has a very “welcome home” atmosphere. The complimentary cup of soup is AWESOME. I sat at a corner table allowing me to do what I love...watch people. As I enjoyed my delicious first meal of 2020 I watched as every person who entered was treated with care and joy. Just like being home the staff will keep checking to see if the food is ok and if you need anything. This is honestly the best pizza in the Valley. The ranch is amazing — I’m a huge ranch girl so that’s a big deal for me. I was also really surprised (in a good way) that they were open on Thanksgiving. I was by myself for the holiday, so being able to order something warm and good meant a lot. I am by far theeee pickiest person and was a bit nervous the entire planning of the wedding due to not physically being in LA until the weekend of. Due to still being on the east coast we could not even conduct a cake tasting. Thankfully cake monkey worked with me and set up a cake tasting packet for my sister in law to have.We fell for two flavors and could not chose 1 (German Chocolate & 9” Choco Malt). We decided to do a mixture of both flavors. When i tell you the day of my wedding the cake was not only simple, elegant yet beautiful (my theme) but ABSOLUTELY delicious. The way they mixed these flavors to where one did not overpower the other, but still gave you a pleasing and addictive want for more was just wonderful. I am very grateful for cake monkey and their professionalism, talent, and patience with how the run their business. Thank you guys very much.“

“Recently, I had the chance to try this spot and ordered a variety of items: hot wings, a small pizza, a mushroom bacon burger, and a salad. Overall, the food was pretty good, and I enjoyed most of my meal.
Unfortunately, the salad was a letdown. It had frozen carrots on top, which really affected the freshness. The diced tomatoes also seemed frozen, which was disappointing (see photos).
Despite the salad mishap, I’d consider eating here again, but I’ll be steering clear of the salads next time.“

Last night I finally ordered through UberEats for the first time, and let me tell you, I was VERY impressed by how everything was packaged with care to prevent broth for my ramen spilling and from my sushi being crushed. I ordered the Spicy Seafood ramen bowl which was delicious! And I got a California roll because of its reasonable price and being a classic. Everything was very good and well kept to ensure a positive first experience. The portions are perfect for if you're very hungry and want to indluge or if you just need a little pick-me-up and want to have leftovers for later. “Order the pork chops and tell them to burn them. Absolutely delicious. Burn the tomato too! Be sure to get the sauce for the rice. Salad is fresh and very tasty. Overall, this has been a family favorite for years. You can go casual on attire.“
