“We drove up from Nevada City today to have lunch here. We'd been here once before & remembered how good it was. Today did not disappoint. Pete ordered a Cheeseburger & I had a Panini. On a 1 to 10 scale we both gave our lunch a 10. The owner and his assistant were very pleasant. Loved being served with real plates. Thanks for a great afternoon!”

“We’ve eaten at Creekside for dinner and brunch. The food is delicious and the service staff are friendly and professional. Brunch was especially great…because, well, I love brunch! When Ike’s closed a huge void for brunch was left here…so thrilled to have Creekside as our new go to on Sunday mornings! The homemade English muffins alone are worth getting up and out for on a weekend morning. They use local ingredients that are lovingly crafted into wonderful dishes. I’m vegetarian (my husband is not) so I’m always appreciative of restaurants who don’t forget us vegetarians! We love having you in Nevada City, Creekside, and will be regulars at your lovely and delicious restaurant!”

“We are avid Cioppino makers, making it at least 10 times a year. While visiting our favorite family pizzeria, Miner Moes, we found out they make their own sauce! To say we were stoked is an understatement! We decided to create a lazy man’s Cioppino the very next day (no shells). We only added fresh lemon and parsley to taste, and I have to say it was fantastic! It felt like we were in the San Francisco Bay at a restaurant!”

“I love this institution!!! The most friendly, caring staff who make you feel good just coming in. Their bagels are so light and fluffy with the perfect outer layer. So many varieties to choose from!!!”

“This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Grass Valley. I always order the taco plate with 3 tacos (the carnitas is divine, roasted then fried) which comes with a side of beans and rice. The tacos are street tacos so you get 2 street taco-sized tortillas, a generous amount of meat, onions and cilantro, with pickled jalapeños and carrots on the side. The tacos are as delicious and authentic as street tacos in Mexico.

Complimentary homemade agua fresco is included with each order. My favorite is the berry lime.

The staff and owner are super friendly. The space, including the tables and bar, is clean and tidy. The food is reasonably priced. I really can't say enough good things about this place.”
