Belwood Bakery Cafe

I started coming here years ago when my workplace was close by. They seem to have changed to more limited hours because they are only open now while I'm trapped at my work site. Pity that they don't open at 7am. Their current hours are 8am - 2pm. I believe they cater to the CSUN students and office workers in the area. I'm can only come here on weekends. Cool little spot, very clean. Decent selection of bakery items, along with many different lunch items. I've ordered the cold turkey sandwich a couple of times and it's always fresh and tasty. The French roll is incredible. Prices are a little high but I do enjoy supporting a locally owned business. My only complaint would be I wish the young woman at the counter was a little nicer. Not too many friendly vibes from her. But definitely check it out!

Although the sandwiches are the best of the area and all the food that they sell there is also delicious, is the worse place for working there. There's a guy who treat you as you are a slave. Fortunately he doesn't belong to the family that are the real owners of that clean and nice place.
