“James and his wife run a restaurant that serves American-style salads like Caesar and Greek chicken, along with sweets such as ice cream, candy bars, and muffins. They also offer a selection of beers, ideal for enjoying with friends, though it's not extensive. Whether or notyou’re a male or femalle. If you do stay here for a little bit, you’ll see that they make homemade Korean dishes, like kimchi, etc. which is quite tasty. I might say so if you have a handcream to try something new go to lBelli tell her you won’t be disappointed.“

“I am so lucky! I just pulled over to adjust my navigation map and ended up in front of this store.
The nostalgic was worth a good look. I went inside to get a bottle of water as the deli lady was finishing assembling a great looking sandwich. It looked so good I had to have one too.
Pastrami on oat bran bread. She makes sure to make it exactly the way the customer wants it. Her and her partner have been running this shop for over 20 years. The guy ids fun to talk to while the deli products stress being made.
That sandwich was absolutely delicious!
Put this place on your list of places to stop.“

“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.“

“We read Houston’s article in the Argus about Urban Deli and had to try it. It was everything he proclaimed. I tried the Mediterranean Platter and everything was delicious - the falafel were uniquely spiced and not too salty which mixes often are. My husband tried the chicken schwarma platter and the walnut baklava and enjoyed them both. The customer service was excellent. So excited to have this new deli downtown.“

“The BEST sandwiches in town. I, personally, think they are a much better quality than when it was Mr. Pickles. Much friendlier staff and owner. I rate this 10 stars. Love the vegetarian sando on Dutch crunch with Swiss and Baja sauce. Chicken salad sando excellent too. All good! Fresh“

“Hey this stand alone building with a red & white steer statute on top stands out for all the right reasons. The deli serves up mean delicious deli sandwiches. This is an old school Italian deli reminiscent of the kind from my childhood. The kind of place that gets its fresh quality deli meats from butcher or meat shops. Well Angelo’s deli gets its meats from Angelo’s meats. Yup that same Angelo. He owns and operates both.
I ordered a custom made sandwich. Oh boy it was fantastic! Soft, sturdy bread. Tasty, quality deli meat. Fresh fixings. Yum! But I got one gripe, my sandwich meat serving was skimpier than then the other Yelpers. You can distinguish from the photos. Inconsistency and arbitrariness makes me skeptical. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt here this time though.
The place is located in the wine country of Sonoma, CA. The shop has a few outdoor tables. But it's mostly a grab n go. Inside is clean and compact. No frills. The frills are in the sandwiches and food. Mmm, delicious. To order, you fill out the ordering form and stand in line. When it's your turn, you hand over the form. Very old school, but hey if it ain't broke! Then you shuffle towards the cashier.
Besides the sandwiches, they sell... cold drinks, homemade local jams/jellies, Angelo's meat products that are vacuum sealed in the refrigerator, and of course Angelo's famous jerky... beef and turkey. The jerky comes in a bunch of flavors. I'm kicking myself for not buying g a bag. The jerky all had a gorgeous color with a moist tenderness. No shoe leather jerky here.
Angelo's meats is a smokehouse that's been in business since 1972. The smokehouse is in Petaluma, CA. They sell smoked sausages and bacon, smoked chicken and pork chops, tri tip and steaks, whole roast pigs, and beef and turkey jerky. They also cater and sell whole roasted pigs.“

“The roast beef sandwich is in a class of its own, and the staff is very friendly. D.G. Cafe does it right and it's nice to have a high-quality lunch spot here in San Anselmo that isn't Comforts.“

“great place to eat really good food“
“Finally made it here and I was impressed. I ordered a custom turkey-avo-swiss sandwich with lots of extras. First things first, they got my difficult order 100% correct! It was thoughtfully built with ingredients assembled evenly with edge to edge spreading of the condiments. It was wrapped neatly and then cut in half so it didn't fall apart in my hands. The flavors were fresh, meat and veggies all had a good flavor pop.Service was very friendly, our tables were clean prior to us sitting down and the sandwiches were delivered timely to us at our table. Very nice and appreciated these days when it seems like counter service ends with your cc signature.Nice that it's open Sundays too.Why not 5-stars?1) I think a few more signature sandwich menu items would be helpful. I know small menus are a trend but I feel like 6-8 options for hot and cold each would cover a few more bases (ex tuna salad/ tuna melt, some turkey or chicken without bacon, caprese, Reuben, roast beef & brie, etc)2) I think not having a sourdough roll is a miss or simply a roll with a crunch/ crusty exterior (dutch crunch, French roll, focaccia etc). The sweet roll on my sandwich held the sandwich back from it's full potential.“

“Been going here for the past year and have been so impressed with every experience. Their bread is baked fresh daily, sandwiches are made with that personal touch and the cooler is stocked with a plethora of great choices. They have beer on tap, an outdoor patio area seated away from the bustle of the main road, solid Wi-Fi and plug-ins. My personal favorite is the Lostrami on Dutch Crunch.“

“Love this place. The staff is so kind and personable. I had a delicious egg, swiss, avocado on an English muffin. Muffin was fresh, and it all melted in my mouth. I also got the dolmas, yummy! Please support this business, especially during this time. You will not be disappointed!“

“Right off the freeway with plenty of parking. Full specialty deli with hot and cold dishes
I've been coming here for 27 years and it just keeps getting better.
There is a shaded patio for a lunch date or a quick lunch break.
I often stop to pick up a cold drink for my drive up North on 101.
A family owned deli.
It's my go to and will be yours too!“

“Next to lucky market off seventh and Grant Avenue downtown Novato. Family owned deli that has served Bay Area for years with catering , too.
It’s little Italy in Novato. Anything in refrigeration pasta is amazing. Imported Italian treats and oils. Fresh coffee is amazing. Great old school feel. My salami sandwich is a tradition .“
