Was meeting a friend in Novato and googled Mexican restaurants, this one came up. It's located on Novato Blvd, on way out into the country. We were greeted and told to seat ourselves. Chips and water were served. Chips a bit stale, but carne asada burrito was very good and flavorful. I ordered glass of Chardonnay and it took forever to receive. Also the menu prices are lower than the prices on our check, they need to update menu with "new" prices. Also the menu...

I ordered the menudo this morning and it was honestly delicious - 4.5 star good. However it came out to $27 with tax (I ordered over the phone and didn't think to ask the price). I know the cost of everything has increased in recent years but I was surprised at the total. Because of how good the soup was I would want to order it more often but at that price probably not.

We had our mother's day celebration here. This is a neighborhood gem that no one knows about because it is located in a square that ran its course. Love the tacos chicharrones. My husband enjoyed his burrito. Our aupair had a milenesa that looked and tasted soooo good. We spent $130 for 6 people which might be a bit on the higher side but the quality of meat is worth the price. They also provided unlimited nachos and the sauces were delicious. Customer service was great....
