The wife and I stop by talk to Robert very cool person order the brisket he made sure everything is good we were happy can't find good bbq in elk grove like that we will be going back
There is a building on a corner lot, on the south side of 120, 1/2 way between Escalon and Oakdale. Right now the parking lot is blocked off with a chain link fence, but on the fence there is the iconic orange and black Fasty's BBQ sign! Fingers crossed...

Definitely the best bbq locally. Closest to real Texas bbq I've had. He hasn't closed, just relocated across town. He's not next to the fruit stand anymore, he's often in the parking with the sports bar over on Yosemite headed towards river road/26 mile. Go try him out. Won't be disappointed.
