A nice quiet spot for enjoying a pint of delicious local beer. The brewery is also doing their part for the environment by using bioenergy to fuel their brewing operation. Bummer that the state of affairs in Oakland is forcing them to close and unfortunately that also meant no food options other than chips. Had a wonderful time this past Saturday tasting all the fantastic beers at Ale Industries. This brewery has been on my to visit list for 3 years now, and yup, I've been missing out! The woman pouring us beers was so welcoming and happy to let us try small tastes of several beers. Their cherry sour beer is probably one of the best sours I've ever had. Super sad that a favorite is closing. 5 break-ins in a year + a 50% rent increase. Can’t blame them. Delicious beer. Quality folks. Great atmosphere. Pinball. If there was any way to keep this going I would be all in.
