This is the best Cambodian restaurant I've been to in the bay! We got the lamb curry which was the perfectly seasoned + lemongrass sour soup with catfish (this was tangy, savory, and felt like it filled your body with joy). The employe was also very welcoming.

their food is so delicious and unique! its also a oakland mainstay i remember since i Was little. today i added fried soft shell crab w a cream tang sauce. battambang noodles, beef skewers, smokey shrimp eggplant, crab fried rice, beef skewers. ill always love to comehere or order! please support this amazing humble family!

Excellent family restaurant with the best dinner vibes. Came in here unexpectedly and I’m so happy to have done so. Navi is so sweet and kept refilling my hot tea for me. Got the coconut soup and it was the best I’ve had in a while. Tasty Cambodian food from a long-time Oakland favorite.We ordered the smoked eggplant, Battambang noodles with tofu, and their Lemongrass pork. The noodles and eggplant were delicious. The pork was a bit dry, but had good flavor.The service was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Yes. The location isn’t the best. Yes, your server kindly reminds you not to leave your valuables in your car. Yes, the decor is a bit dated and the lighting is much to be desired. But all that being said, the food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding. Try the Battambang noodles and the Mango sticky rice. You won’t be disappointed.

Came out here while visiting San Francisco. Glad we did! Had just what my Khmer husband was craving. Prices were good, and they had a lot of options.
Had the beef skewers and chicken vegetable stir fry and all tasted great! Went for lunch on a Saturday and had the whole place ourselves.

If you're in Oakland, do yourself a favor and swing by Battambang. Hearty portions and unique dishes at reasonable prices. Not to mention, the service is some of the best in the Bay Area. Do your wallet and your taste buds a favor and give this place a try. Allow me to recommend any stir fry dish.

Hard to find parking during dinner time, it is all street parking remember to pay, most has 2hour limits. Food and service was good. Not the best location, small and older decor. They don't have Mango sticky rice all year cause it seasonal. We had the lamb curry, chicken coconut soup and two noodles with rice. The lamb curry was the best tasting.
