Saucy Oakland Reviews
The food was so delicious. Everything about this restaurant was so great except that our waitress seemed to had a bad day or something (we sat to the left of the door). But we will be back for the food and to support this little gem of a restaurant
Food was delicious! Every bite hit.
Been meaning to try this place for a minute and finally got around to it. Nice variations on different Asian cuisines - Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese inspired. We had the Shaking Beef, Basil Chicken and some really nice hamachi spoons as an app (very bright and clean flavors). The staff was very friendly they came over at the end of our meal with the chef and invited us to do a sake shot with them! The space is nice - lounge vibes.

Saucy Oakland is a hidden gem with amazing food and friendly staff. The chef creates incredible dishes, and everyone who works there is super nice, providing a great experience. Although drinks are pricey, the delicious pickled pineapple appetizer is a must-try. The menu changes occasionally, and the Bread Pudding is out of this world. Perfect for all occasions, from first dates to special events, this restaurant is highly recommended. The Hamachi Spoons are a flavor bomb, and the Garlic Noodles are divine. The Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps are sumptuous, while the Salt and Pepper Wings are crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The Miso Sea Bass is eye-rolling. The food is unique and delicious, with clever combinations of Thai, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine. Service is delightful, and the food is very affordable, which makes it even more appealing. The servers are prompt and polite, and the dishes start great. Many guests find this place to be their new go-to spot, especially in Downtown Oakland. With a great sake selection and a welcoming atmosphere, Saucy Oakland is a place worth returning to. It’s especially a good choice during happy hour for some excellent deals.
