Cafe Lakeview is a gem by Lake Merritt with delicious food. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and great View. The proprietress runs a quality operation all by herself. The vegetarian sandwich is excellent. The service is top notch. Their food is delicious and fresh. The Chicken Pesto sandwich with ethiopian spice is flavorful and the best chicken sandwich ever had. It's a chill place with a relaxed environment and free wifi, a great place to work or just hang out. Be patient here, it may take a bit because she mostly works alone, and it's so worth the wait.
