CCW Bar and Restaurant is currently just operating as CCW Bar as the kitchen is closed. My friend's partner organized a surprise graduation party for her here (give it up for DR Kate!) There were overall quite of few of us -- when we left at 9 pm there were 20 people from our party alone gathered there. That being said, we were not the largest party. There seemed to be some sort of post-work happy hour at a nearby table that snagged seating under a tent. CCW is only open once a month, and conveniently during First Fridays. Outside food is allowed. I think the idea is that you can grab your First Fridays food fix and come here for a laid-back time to hang out in a beer garden away from the street noise. My only real complaint is that the line to the bar was consistently ~10 people long. Thankfully though, we had pitchers at our table. I had the paloma and that was nicely done. The beer selection though, for such a popular place, was on the sparse side. I'll be recommending CCW for people in the area for First Fridays! Seems like CCW has found their niche in the Oakland evening social scene.

Great space! They do rentals and parties. Art, an outdoor patio, amazing old cars, a bar, go check it out, hidden away near downtown Oakland, a local gem

Just pulled in to eat at chef d's fried chicken and Mac and cheese also had a barbecue plate and then some pear combler dessert to take home. Saw his food on Instagram and had to come pay him a visit and was not disappointed at all, we enjoyed every single bite and the desert was the icing on the cake, brought one home to add some ice cream to it! Will be back soon and thanks for the ambiance, such a location!

Would definitely recommend this place! Great art and great company. Plus they have mezcal, which is something hard to come by at bars. It's a great place to start the night with friends. This place has such a great vibe!

Great first time at Classic Cars West! We came on a Saturday night, early around 5:30pm. There were very few people there at the time so a little quiet but it is such a great space. The bar is inside, not a ton of options but they do have cider which I appreciate. You can walk around inside where there are old cars to view, arcade games, a photo booth, and some art! Right outside is the beer garden where they have a pop up serving Popoca food which was amazing! The outside area is really spacious. It has ping pong and is dog friendly. Really awesome setting with a good vibe! Will be coming back with a group to enjoy the space, drinks, and food!

This is a great spot. The food from the pop-up was fantastic. There is a full bar inside with interesting art installations that change monthly, classic cars, and pinball. The patio was a perfect place to enjoy a Saturday afternoon.

I used to love this spot and would give it 6 stars if I could, but as a vegan customer I have been really disappointed to see the change away from a vegan kitchen.

I've generally had a good experience at this place, but I forgot to grab my credit card and stopped by at a time that should have been open according to the sign. The bartender wasn't very friendly and said they were closed. She did give back my card, but didn't really acknowledge the times being off. Probably won't come back, which is a shame since it's a nice venue overall.

I don't understand the concept but i like the concept because I like classic cars. and they've got a couple of them. Whether its a vintage porsche or lotus, for some reason you can ogle them while drinking a beer and maybe having some food at one of the various pop ups they host. I wasn't asking for a bar like this and probably don't need one, strictly speaking, but it's existence is a good thing.

Funny story- I called myself leaving my number for the bartender whom I was crushing on, instead, the owner called me the next day! Me: "Hello!" Owner: "Hey, this is Classic Cars calling, someone left a number last night stating they wanted to purchase the Porsche that we have?" :: MODED!:: Me: "Huh? Umm, no. My name is Porsche (haha) and I had left my number to inform you that my friends and I had a wonderful time there last night. :: Had to switch that up quick!:: Yea, so there are some pros and cons to being named after a car, right! This is a PERFECT example. It's not the call I expected but doesn't surprise me, you see, Classic Cars West Beer Garden is known for their awesome classic vintage cars--one of them being the sexy red Porsche. I have been addicted to this place ever since I found out it exists over three weeks ago. It's a very interesting, unique and spacious venue. It offers a bar-type feel inside, a warehouse-type feels in the back where there is a DJ (some nights), a photo booth and several classic cars for the show. In the back is a spacious outside area that is perfect when the weather is good. There is also a secret speakeasy inside as well. Classic Cars offers a lot and knows how to keep you coming back for more. They also offer 100% vegan food. Want to know my opinion? Pass on the food and stay for the drinks and the sexy bartenders. Now, moving on to the bartenders, shall we?! Oh, Lord! Can I just give a big shout out to Matt! OMG (drops the mic!). Now, I know why T-Pain wrote the song, "I'm in love with the bartender" that is seriously a thing, y'all! He stole my heart once I walked in and he greeted me by name; seems like I must have made the first impression the first time around, huh . Let me not forget the sexy and gorgeous, Teryn, who provided exceptional service once I entered and informed her I was hosting a Meetup there. During the weekdays, there are special events that happen: DJ on Thursdays, Trivia, and karaoke. This place is chill and fun! I look forward to coming back more throughout the week! P.S-I love the murals! Don't forget to check this place out. Also, check out Oakland's 1st speakeasy bar inside Classic Cars!
