I Absolutely love this place been there several times never had a bad experience food is always fresh and hot and tasty.

In the past, the food that I order is pretty good. However today I ordered chicken wings and fries. On the e-mail I received the cost was $10.00 when I picked it up I was charged $11.00. I was not provided a receipt nor did they have pennies in their drawer for my change. My chicken looked like pigeon instead of chicken. I called to speak with La-La, the manager and she was unapologetic. She did offer to refund my money after carrying on two or three conversations at once. Last year I stopped patronizing the cafe because I ordered a salad and was given all the yellow insides of the lettuce. I called to voice my concern and no one called back. I am aware this is a training program but the need to train with excellent customer service should be taken in account as well. I could give other instances of poor customer relations but I will end here. We must do better to be better. Tie your hair up and use gloves!

I was at an event that they catered on 8/4/2018 and was disgusted to find a hair in my food. I called today 8/8/2018 to voice my displeasure and was treated as if I didn't matter. The manager did nothing to satisfy my displeasure and blew me off. I got no apology whatsoever.

We got roast beef sandwiches. They accommodated us by making one wrapped in lettuce. We were not expecting the sandwiches to be this tasty. I've been dreaming to go back for a week.The place has a barista.We asked for cappuccino and latte. Their usual customers don't order things like that, I was told. So the guy asked the chef if she can make it and she did. It was perfect.The prices are competitive. $8 a sandwich and about $3 for coffee.I will go back every time I can. Highly recommended .

Excellent food whether it is comfort and soul food or vegetarian dishes using local and sustainable products! Chef La La is amazing both as Executive Chef and a role model and teacher for the team.
