High 5ive Rooftop Venue is a nice spot to catch views of uptown Oakland, especially at sunset. The venue has outdoor heating furnaces that add a good vibe to the evening air. The drink selections are nice, with pretty good cocktails and great Mezcal drinks. The brie-baked baby potatoes and cheese-covered pretzel bites are notably good and filling. The atmosphere is great, with a nice evening air and a vibe like sitting by a campfire. The venue is also a good place for events, with a great atmosphere, food, and service. However, parking can be awful and some guests have had issues with service, including not being offered a menu and servers not checking in. Overall, High 5ive Rooftop Venue is a great spot to enjoy drinks and views, but may have some inconsistencies with service.
