Pho Huyen & Banh Mi

Ok this place has the best Bhan Mi in Oakland. Here why the bbq pork is sliced thick and is juicy on a crispy baguette. The baguette is the best and the pork is number one in my books. Ive been eat Vietnamese food since the 90’s and place is the best I have ever eaten. The price is good at 9.00 I hope they don’t raise it too for a long time cause I m going back there soon. The food is delicious but every time I order through grubhub my order gets canceled. I cannot recommend a restaurant that doesn't want to sell food.

2. Bún Bo Huế: Better than average. 8/10.

Worst banh mi I’ve ever tried!! I ordered the veggie and it hardly had any vegetables in it. It also tasted gross. Threw it away.

Very friendly place with excellent service and outstanding pho. A rougher area for nighttime visitors, but a large dining room with to go service and bathrooms for those eating in.

Came in to pick up a couple banh mis to-go for lunch and I am so glad I did. GF ordered the BBQ Pork and I ordered the BBQ Chicken with extra pate. These were some of the best banh mis I've had in Oakland. The proteins on both sandwiches were so flavorful and juicy. These sandwiches may cost a few dollars more than some of the other spots around here but you're paying for quality and generous portions. Staff was really nice and helpful too. I will definitely be back soon.

8am breakfast is super good to start the day. My friend had the breakfast sandwich which he said, “There is nothing I would add to this sandwich.” The pho is also a highly recommended meal. The inner decor is super slick and simply great. Throughly a great experience

Had the BBQ chicken sandwich...it rocked! I am on the road a lot and need my lunches to carry me through to my late dinner. Not only was I full, but the made-to-order BBQ chicken was delicious... The balance of sweet spicy and their spread, wow!

I've been searching for a good Bun Bo Hue since my usual place moved and their recipe changed. This place was good and I plan to be back to try their other items.
