New owners as of 2025. Completely remodeled and now is a small convenience store, open 24 hours. New staff is very nice, mix of Arabic and Spanish speakers for the most part.
Now serves full assortment of donuts as well as croissant and bagel sandwiches, different flavors of coffee and convenience snacks.
Very small parking lot for four or five cars. Most people don't stay very long so you usually can actually find a spot.

transplants aren’t allowed to comment on this old donut joint, it’s been around for ages, when i was a kid, it’s the best shop in east oakland
