GLK offers a special annual Hanukkah dinner. It includes a succulent brisket, creamy mashed potatoes, broccoli rabe, and some huge crispy latkes! Additionally it comes with some homemade horseradish for the meat, and apple sauce and sour cream for the latkes. Even jelly donuts for dessert. Can't rave enough about the quality of the food! Didn't want it to end. This is the second time we ordered this, and it's going to be an annual tradition in our home...
We ordered takeout from Grand Lake and were very happy with the quality and creativity of the dishes. The matzah ball soup is an unusual offering and lives up to the old-fashioned recipe — including a basketball-size matzah ball!! The Cali salad is an excellent choice with a nice combination of ingredients, including a choice of egg salad, chicken salad or hummus included in the price.
