Square Pie Guys Reviews
The manager at the Campbell location was horrendous. We received a promo code and decided to give this place a try. When we went into the store, they managed a refused to honor the promo code sitting that they could only be used online. It was clearly pinched that the promo code was applicable, either in store or online and could be used in the Campbell location. He refused to budge so we canceled our order. We ended up going to the Garrett station and ordering our pizzas. It...read full review
Delicious pizza, friendly people!
🙂
This is more about the management side of things. I honestly didn’t have the BEST experience with them on my last order. BUT, they went out of there way to fix things. They are new in Oakland, just getting the operation together and I’m happy to see them there. They aren’t the cheapest but, I don’t want the Dominoes or Pizza Hutt experience (or quality) and if I pay a little extra for food, I want good service to follow. In the end, they offered great service. I’m impressed.

Square Pie Guys is a reliable pizza spot with a cute ambiance, perfect for catching up with friends. They offer great Detroit-style pizza, and the Big Von pizza is highly recommended. The cheese pull is amazing, and they serve it on a rack to keep it crispy. The vodka sauce is also great, although some customers wish it was striped across the top as expected. The staff is prompt and friendly, making the ordering process convenient and quick. While some find the flavors a bit salty, the quality of the product is undeniable. The restaurant is known as one of the best pizza places in Oakland, and many customers agree that it offers fantastic pizza. The mushroom and plant-based options are flavorful and worth trying. Although some flavors like The King's and Pork & Pineapple didn't stand out as much, overall, the unique square pie flavors are a good reason to visit. The restaurant is easy to find, with plenty of indoor seating available. Each square slice runs about $5, and the average cost per person is around $22, which feels a bit pricey considering the portion size. The layout needs serious work; the entryway can become congested with delivery drivers, making it hard to get to the front to place an order or grab a beer while waiting. Convenient parking and a nearby cafe add to the overall positive experience, making it a great place for a tasty pizza outing!
