Pate’ was good. Calamari steak was tender but the breading was very “doughy “ sadly. Boulevardier drink was to be like an old fashion but only very remotely like one. Service was very friendly. fast, and present. I would not recommend this place but I would also not fight to avoid it either.
I loved the Flat Iron Steak (medium rare). I almost ordered a second one.
It's been a while I have not eaten such a good meat and so well prepared except at home when I pick it up myself from my favorite butcher and I cook it myself.
Great choice of wines and cocktails. I liked the atmosphere even if we had to sit at the bar.

It was such a delight to eat at the Fat Lady! I’ve been meaning to try it for the longest time as I’ve heard it is a must try Oakland establishment.
The food was outstanding - we ordered the steamed mussels and the hot spinach salad as our appetizer. Each of us also got the prime rib plate that’s available on Fridays and saturdays as our entrees. All the flavors and seasonings were done perfectly! I also enjoyed the boulevardier...
