We have been coming here for many years sporadically. It is my husbands favorite sushi place in Rockridge.The nigiri is big so I have to cut it in half but it fits as a bite if you have a big mouth.There is complimentary miso soup ? and salad ? with a creamy dressing. No spoon is provided so drink from the bowlThere is a large hill of wasabi and ginger provided. Super good, fresh fish, good value. 2 of us got chef's choice for $69 each and the pieces were fresh, and thick, and generous portions. With soup, salad, appetizers, and a lot of sushi, I was pretty satisfied. Service was good, ambiance was basic.Recommended.

I walked in with low expectations only because not that many people were in the restaurant. I was proven wrong quickly. The food was amazing and the service was great. I can't stand it when you get giant sushi rolls. These were small and very fresh. The dudes rolling the sushi were bout the business.
