We truly have enjoyed Old Juan's Cantina in the past. This experience tonight wasn't the best. We had a reservation for 11 people. We had to wait much longer than we thought.
There were at least four of us in the party that received food that was not hot. The food wasn't as tasty as usual.
Our waitress Chelsea was very good, very friendly and I have no complaints with her.
I'm certain we will give Old Juan's another chance but it could be a little while.

Staying here in Oceana for a week. Already been here twice. Yes it’s convenient, but the atmosphere and the food is great. Both times we have sat in the bar. Friendly staff and regulars make it feel like home. We met an elderly couple who drive from SLO a couple times a week to enjoy! Check them out if you are in the area.

We had fantastic meals. The portions were perfect, fairly priced and great service. We went on a Friday night and they were pretty busy but we didn't have to wait too long for a booth for 4 and our food came out within 15 minutes of ordering, hot and delicious. We'd definitely go back.

We stopped in for lunch. Service and atmosphere were were just fine. I will say we were surprised regarding relatively high prices and small portions.

Ended up at Old Juans because another place didn't want my business. So, out came the GPS program & I dug around to see what would work for me. Very glad I did. Was warmly welcomed, asked for & was given a table not near a speaker, & the water & chips & salsa showed up immediately. My server Kyle was very pleasant, & gave me the time I needed for decisions. I was hoping for a "bowl" that was available earlier at brunch, & he checked for me, but no go. Ordered a chicken tostada (ok, felt too much lettuce) which was huge, a good margarita, & but the absolute star of the meal were the calabaza tacos. 3 small flour vegetable tacos with mole sauce - they need to make those in an entree size! Amazing. Sorry I won't be in the area much longer, it's worth a return trip.
Wow ! Food & margaritas were excellent, even better than I remember- we highly recommend- you’ll love it.

It was an excellent meal. Piping hot and fantastic flavor. Big enough portions to take leftovers home for another meal.

Love chips and dip! The doggie menu is off the chart! You must try a craft of the house margaritas 👍
