“Hill Street Donut House is officially a gem. The young couple that works there is incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can feel the care they put into everything the moment you walk in. The fresh orange juice is unreal — bright, refreshing, and clearly squeezed fresh. And the sandwiches? Absolutely to die for. I ordered the B9 ham, bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich and loved it!

It’s rare to find a place that nails great food and great vibes, but Hill Street Donut House does both effortlessly. So happy to see this spot thriving — I’ll definitely be back again and again!!!!“

“First time coming into this place after living in Oceanside for 4 years…AMAZING DONUTS! Best apple fritter to ever grace my mouth. Buttermilk donuts were a close 2nd. Got old-fashioned maple and chocolate and others too…HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all your donut cravings and needs. Don’t want this sugar rush to end, but when it does I’ll be back for more. Facility was clean and orderly, and service was great too.“

“We stopped by Sam’s Donut Shop because my wife was craving a Boston cream donut, and they absolutely delivered. The donut was fresh, soft, and perfectly filled, with a smooth, rich custard that wasn’t overly sweet and a chocolate glaze that hit just the right balance. “Google searched for a donut shop that was close to the car wash that I frequent prior to going to work on a Saturday morning so I can bring a dozen donuts to share with my coworkers. Mr. Donuts is a donut that I would usually go to that sell just regular donuts (glazed, chocolate, maple, etc...) and not these newer shops that make these "fancy" concoctions like, donuts mixed with some type of breakfast or some other mixed flavored type of donut. So, I just got a mix of maple bars, glazed twists, old-fashioned glazed, sugar, etc...and everything tasted great and fresh. My coworkers and I enjoyed the donuts from here and even one of them said that they've had donuts from Mr. Donuts and her and her family always get donuts from there. So, I do recommend this donut shop. The gentleman, who possibly could've been the owner/donut maker, that helped was very nice and courteous. I'll get his name the next time I go there. I did notice that they sell breakfast types of sandwiches and saw a couple of people walking out with them so I will have to try one next time as well. A great local donut shop that you should go to and try.“

“This place is amazing! If you’re in the mood for something sweet after dinner or just want to treat yourself to some fresh sweets, this is the spot for you. They offer a variety of dessert options, but their gourmet doughnuts are what they’re really known for. I tried the churro and another with pistachios, both topped with different types of chocolates and toppings. The prices are reasonable, especially considering how fresh the food is. They also have coffee and other drinks if you’re in the mood. Plus, it’s super convenient, right by the shore and close to lots of shopping.“

“I love coming to this donut café. This is a great place to bring your family, your friends or just passing El Camino Real, the donuts are made in house. They are fresh fluffy, and they use high-quality ingredients. The owner and her family are so friendly, kind and funny. this donut café is tucked into a strip mall off of Stater Bros. The filling in the donuts are always on point compared to the corporate chains. A perfect amount of custard/ icing! The apple fritter is best in show!!“

“Started driving by Tan’s in 1985 on my way to L.A. 4 in the morning. Always a crumb donut. Mr Tan always greeted me. Retired now , I get by every couple months!“
