The food was absolutely delicious. The server was nice. It took so so long to get drinks and refills and we had soda and tea. Also food came out separately so some of where already done. Fish sandwich, cheeseburger. Cracked tri tip sandwich
Yummy breakfast food with hearty portions at a reasonable price. Outdoor Oceanside seating and lively breezes. Can’t beat the view!
The food critic from Ratatouille, when he tasted the dish, then the look on his face…. Yeah, that kind of experience!

High/Low is a restaurant located across from the beach's upper entrance, just south of the pier, offering a stunning view of the ocean and Oceanside Pier from the bar. The ambiance is perfect for various occasions, from work lunches to dates and dinners, making it great for outdoor dining overlooking the beach. The patio is cute and casual, ideal for anyone stopping by after a workout or enjoying a brunch.
The food at High/Low is creative and flavorful, blending fusion dishes and classics. The Hawaiian fried rice is a delicious choice, and the smoked salmon scramble is incredibly good. The vegan banana pancakes have also received praise for their taste. Handmade apple pies are a standout dessert, while the sirloin wedge serves as a great light option, especially on warm days. Guests have enjoyed drinks like piña piña and chai baby, which match the relaxing vibe.
The service at High/Low is friendly and attentive, with staff accommodating guests well. Happy hour is a popular time for drinks, and many have enjoyed the Arnold palmers. While the ocean view is beautiful, it can get crowded, and some guests have noted that the noise level may be high.
It's important to mention that the fried chicken and waffles are no longer on the menu as of April 2024. Overall, High/Low is a fantastic spot for a meal, with great food and excellent service, enhanced by the beautiful ocean view and atmosphere. The restaurant is suitable for small groups and large group brunches, making it a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
