“We stopped at this restaurant in Bakersfield on our way to Death Valley, and honestly, the exterior and overall floor setup might seem a bit deceiving at first — but don’t let that fool you. The food is absolutely delicious!
We ordered Malai Kofta, Sarson Da Saag, Paneer Butter Masala, along with Amritsari Kulcha with Chhole, Garlic Naan, Makke Di Roti, and Tandoor Roti — and everything was outstanding. The real standout was the Amritsari Kulcha with Chhole — just superb. Fresh, authentic, and packed with flavor. The breads were perfectly made — soft, flavorful, and served hot.
The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. You can truly see the pride they take in their service and freshly made, authentic recipes. Everyone in our group, including the kids, loved the food.
We will definitely be coming back again!”

“Very disappointed in my kids turkey sandwich that I always order at the Mount Vernon location but decided to go here because I was in the area. The bread was so salty on top that I could not eat my sandwich and it had no mayonnaise on it and it was sloppily made. So needless to say I am very disgusted and disappointed with this location and will not be returning. These employees need to pay attention to what the hell they're doing”
