“I've known of Viva Madrid since they opened. Alain Girard and his crew catered an event I hosted at Citrus College called "An Evening in Spain", to promote the opening of the restaurant. I'm happy to see them still going strong. My father, who passed a year and a half ago wanted to take me out and I recommended Viva Madrid. He was annoyed at first, because he liked to dine on the cheap at Chinese food establishments, but I convinced him that this was a 'must do' experience. He was ecstatic afterwards and elated at the wonderful dishes and atmosphere of the place. This is great for the family or a date. You'll not find a better Spanish Tapas restaurant anywhere ... unless maybe, you go to Spain.Book reservations if possible and get there early. There is usually a line of people waiting for them to open.Yes, it's that good.“
“The carnitas are good, not very greasy, the only thing I found to be a little overcooked, the cakes are excellent and the desserts are average, the place looks ugly from the outside but inside it is clean and organized, it is a hygienic and pleasant place. The meat carnitas are good, they look good, I found to be a little overcooked, the cakes are excellent and the desserts are average, the place looks ugly outside but inside it is clean and organized, it is a hygienic and friendly place“
