We were in the area and craving pan dulce/tamales. Found this one and wanted to try it out. We got some pan dulce and a couple tamales. Pan dulce was alright not my fave. As far as the tamales go they are a 7/10. The flavor is good and plenty of sauce and chicken. Only thing is, for the price they are rather small. We've tried tamales from other places and probably they're around the same price but double the size. Would I go here again?! Not sure I guess only if I'm in the area...read full review
Best tamales in Orange County( probably best in California)! La Poblana Bakery is a very small bakery just down from the orange circle, off Chapman. My favorite is the chicken with tomatillo sauce(green sauce). They also have carnitas and shredded beef with red sauce. It is a Christmas tradition to serve tamales at our home.
