Don't reduce yourself to the Del Taco across the street, you know that shit's gonna suck homie. This place is clean, has great service and an awesome menu. It's the one with the big fiberglass chicken on the roof. You can't miss it.
This is my go to authentic Mexican spot. They have really good tortas, tacos, caldos (soups), and shrimp cocktails. The food is flavorful. All for a great price. Service can be slow at times. The restaurant is small and offers limited seating so I usually go before rush hours to grab a seat.
It's actually called El Perico Nuevo! and their tortas, tacos, and shrimp tacos are really good! Thats what i get. It's also clean and sanitary as well as their bathroom. They have Tv's for sports and some music, I recommend this place if you're feeling mexican food!
