What started as a spontaneous date day adventure led us to the charming streets of Historic Folsom, where we stumbled upon Plank’s Craft Kitchen & Bar — a rustic gem with just the right mix of cozy and cool. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was impeccable. The service? Flawless. Our server was on point from start to finish — warm welcome, perfectly timed courses, and not once did our glasses go dry. Everything flowed with such ease, it felt like we were regulars. Drinks first, because priorities: • The Lake Lennon was a total hit — crisp, refreshing, and that subtle hint of cucumber was chef’s kiss. • The Strawberry Gimlet was almost too easy to drink. Sweet, smooth, and gone in the blink of an eye. • The Bees Knees packed the strongest punch of the three, but when I asked for a splash of lemonade to mellow it out, they happily brought it over — instantly elevated the whole experience. “Pleasantly surprised.....in the heart of Palladio in Folsom is a restaurant that caught my eye, Back Bistro. Today I made a stop just after 3pm, what a find! Happy hour everyday from 3 to 6pm. Great selection of happy hour appetizers and drinks. My favs were the Tequila Sour, Ahi Poke Wontons, Philly Cheese Steak Sliders, and Cajun fries. Limited but good beer specials as well. Great bar service, good value and specials, see pics. The place does not disappoint. I am definitely coming back.“

“I went to the pantry on Saturday and I cannot stop thinking about me experience!
My server Madison was not only so kind and attentive, she was amazing. Her energy was so genuine. She was on it! She made sure me and my family were well taken care of. It was genuinely the best server I have had in such a long time. I will definitely be going back to the pantry just because customer service like that is very hard to come by and on top of that she was so busy but still managed to make sure we had everything we needed

The only thing I would change is request extra dressing next time. “They have Karaoke on Wed which was really fun. This BLT was to die for. Triple Decker with Avocado and I had them put the Jalapeño on the side. Shoestring fries were yummy. My friend got a burrito that was less than stellar and totally different from the menu description, she liked it though. The interior is big and has a stage right in the middle. It was hot outside but inside was cool and comfortable. The stairs were the biggest drawback lol.“
