“We had a work dinner at Canon in East Sac, and it absolutely delivered. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance — elevated but comfortable, with a great energy that makes conversation easy and the evening feel special without being stuffy. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — creative without being overcomplicated. It’s clear there’s real intention behind the menu, and everything we ordered felt thoughtfully prepared. Canon is one of those places that works just as well for a professional dinner as it would for a date night or celebration. Incredible food, great vibe, and an overall experience that didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend.“

“What a fantastic meal! We are actually still dining as this review is being written. We ordered deviled eggs and truffles frites, they were amazing. My hubby ordered the burger and I ordered tge pork shank. OMG (GOSH!) it was exceptionally delicious and just plain good! We will return as this was our first visit. “I was just there tonight for the first time, and I gotta say that the owner of this bar has outstanding taste in music, he cares about his customers like family, AND he’s also adorable. “What a great spot! Great drinks, chill atmosphere, and good music. The lighting is fabulous for a night cap, intimate conversation, and a few drinks before the clubs. Tables and seating are varied in placement from the bar stools, to a standing table, to smaller tables with big seating areas. Our bartender was excellent and they were so accommodating to our group which grew and grew by the end of the night. Will definitely be going back again.“

“Back in 2020 while in town for a cousin's wedding. The wedding party ate here. Being a retired chef from Louisiana but residing in Nashville. So I know seafood. I would give this place 5 🌟 because the food deserves 2 👍 and staff and place was A-1.“

“It’s a beautiful place, with really good food but it’s all about the cocktails! The “mixologist” served me three (I was Ubering) variations on my favorite, Manhattans, and all had a name and all were delicious!“

“This place has been revamped since the prior pics on google. Great bar that reasonably priced. The bar has available outlets to plug in chargers for cell phones. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pool table, dart board, booths, and outside seating. Super friendly bar staff!“

“I rarely give out 5 stars but this place is all around great. Service is on point. Vibes are great. My panchetta with thick Canadian bacon was delicious. Best I have ever had. Focacia bread was wonderful. Beet and goat 🐐 cheese salad very refreshing. Wasn't terribly expensive. Definitely recommend. Fun date night spot or friends hanging out. Will definitely be back.“

“The staff and chief are so kind and thoughtful! More than happy to tell us what they would recommend and how to pair drinks with food! We ordered chicken and waffles with peach cobbler, probably the juiciest fried chicken I’ve ever had & the tastiest creamiest waffles. I ordered the special of the day fried shrimp with collard greens and hush puppies! super duper tasty and juicy everything paired very nicely. Alcoholic drinks we paired with the food was a delicious alcoholic drink called Sugar, honey, iced tea. Great experience and great staff.“

“Delicious chicken. Cooked well, seasoned well. I enjoyed the Parmesan garlic sauce. My kids loved the mini burger, chicken tenders, and fries. Nice atmosphere, music on but not too loud even with the place being full. Great drinks- tried the hibiscus lemon drop and hot honey bourbon - both were amazing. Street parking was easy to find. Don’t love that smoking is allowed in outdoor patio and you have to walk through to get inside.“

“One Star- The food was not what I expected. The flavors of Italy was not there. The seafood pasta- clams and Musscles, we undercooked, shrimp and scallops were low quality and bland. 0 flavor. Sauce was very lacking in flavor. Couldn't tell if there was garlic in it or not. The bread had a distinct hint of burnt flavor on the back of my tounge. Not sure if you need to request bread or parmesan or what but I saw lots of people getting extra service. I definitely won't be back and maybe thats the point of giving some folks bad food or service is so their kind won't come back? Who knows but mission accomplished. I nor anyone I know will be back.“

“A very nice place with plenty of outdoor seating. The menu consists of various Mexican cuisines. The servers are extremely friendly, and helpful. The have an extensive happy hour menu as well. Unfortunately the shrimp in the Cocktail was over cooked, but the do offer plenty of shrimp. Definitely recommend this place.“

We have had 2 events catered and everyone loved the food. Thank you for the great food and service!“
“This outdoor lounge area with bar is the perfect people watching spot at DOCO! I can have a quick cocktail before or after an event at Golden1 or hang for a while and relax in the sun. Picnic tables and rocking chairs and a place for the kiddos to run around. Brilliant idea for a bar!“

“Nice space. Music is too loud when I went - if your customers have to raise their voice to order food and you still can't hear them then you need to adjust the volume (since there were only 3 customers in the whole venue). Food was solid but the ordering was a bit confusing as I asked for a side of guac and they put it in the breakfast burrito. Decor is nice. Would come again.“
