“Went to Café Rack for date night on a Saturday around 7pm and had a great time! It wasn’t crowded, which made for a chill, relaxed vibe. Prices were very reasonable, and the gentleman who helped us was super friendly and welcoming. We don’t usually play pool, but ended up having so much fun. The food was delicious, and they offered non-alcoholic beer at the bar. Definitely a go-to, can’t wait to come back!“

“Great location and selection of food and the selection is expanding from what I hear! Kid friendly and a great place to have birthday parties, happy hours, or for any reason. Indoor and outdoor seating options (dog friendly outdoors). They also have lots of TVs for MMA, European, Cricket, and all sports fanatics, inclusive of Baseball, Basketball, and Football! VJ’s also has a FULL COCKTAIL BAR! Great beer selection as well! The owner and his staff are all great. Come by and check out VJ’s! It’s next to the UPS Store at Marina Village.“

“One of my all time favorite spots to play pool, bartenders are great, they don’t gouge you for the drinks while having a nice selection of beer and whiskey. Security does a phenomenal job especially when the place is busy and they’re super friendly. With a pinball machine, shuffleboard, and darts it’s tough not have fun while you’re there.“

“One of the Best places in Oakland to enjoy a draft beer. The lines and taps are cleaned/flushed with every keg change resulting in a delicious very tasty brewski. Friendly bar and Yvonne and Carl are the Coolest. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.“

Then dessert.
I wanted to try the vanilla bean bar, but they had replaced it with caramel bar and ice cream.
Disappointing but I do like caramel too.
I bit into it, died, and ascended.
That dessert was a 10/5.“

“I admire this restaurant! They provide good meals, their menu is decent, The chef in that spot is well trained, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is consistently good, the attitude towards the clients is good. I often go to this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.“

“Since the place is kind small, the seating is communal (it can get tight). There were a few fruit flys when we first walked up to the taps. (I have to be honest) However the atmosphere was still smooth it was great big portion of chicken / fries and they were very tasty. I definitely would be back. “We ordered 2 meals at the same time. One came out in 10-15 minutes. I waited, then asked someone to check on my meal and nobody came back to the table. A few minutes later, which was about 20-25 minutes from the original order, I asked someone else to check on my meal. The server came back and said the kitchen was slow. The meals were ordered at 1:30 pm and now it was almost 2pm. They wanted to know, if I wanted to order the meal. I said to take it off the bill, as my companion finished her meal 10 minutes ago and we had to be somewhere. Then, I had to go to Burger King. Very disappointed with Applebee's.“
