I went to baskin robins last night as a treat for my sons bday. I have 2 small kiddos and they were excited for ice cream. We were greeted by Fernando/Fernandez as soon as we came in and he was able to follow my kids across the different tubs of ice cream and offer them samples of the ones they wanted to try. Delicious ice cream cake but grossly overpriced I think for half sheet ($37). Came here around 8p on Wed, place was almost empty, just a mom and her son eating ice cream. Staff were nice, answered phone promptly - asked if their store accepts payment through gift cards added on app which comes in the form of barcode (yeah few stores can't do it even it's their own gift card or app) They said no problem. And so glad they were able to because I had almost $30 worth of $2 gift cards...read full review

This business has been around at least 45 years (?) is my guess. We grew up in Oxnard and remember it's existence forever.Glad to see it's still open. The building is old, run down. The ice cream is still delicious and refreshing. Great customer service too.They carry all the flavors, fancy cones, toppings and ice cream cakes. We look forward to coming back for the next 40 years!
