La Gloria is a great place that offers a unique atmosphere with everything from sweet ice cream and pastry desserts to in-house fresh tortillas and mouth-watering tacos. The food is super tasty, especially the pasta. The vibe is laid-back and cozy, perfect for a chill evening. There are two buildings with a little alley between them for seating. One building is a market, and the other is a bakery, ice cream, juicer, and hot Mexican food wonderland. It is a pleasant and fun place to grab a bite, Mexican ice cream, or a burrito. The main food storefront has a lot of traditional Mexican plates made freshly daily. On the weekends they serve good menudo. The panaderia offers fresh pan dulce and Mexican jelatinas “jello” in all sorts of different flavors. If you like coffee, try their cafe de la hoya. They also sell bottle Coke from Mexico and Mexican ice cream smoothies. The bakery offers a beautiful cross-section of Mexican panadería heritage, including Cornbread (Pan de Elote) that is sweet, spongy, and moist with a sweet buttermilk flavor. This location is a small food court with a few different food vendors. It is a cool, authentic, little gem.
