“Super classy great food/service at reasonable price - in historic surroundings. We visited for our anniversary, and I can’t recall a more enjoyable evening. The settings & furniture were exquisite. Get to your reservation a little early and enjoy the surrounding historical buildings gathered from around Oxnard into a Heritage Center. Each property has a little description that is quite educational. Or, wait until you’ve enjoyed the great food for that after-dessert stroll. The food was amazing, from Mahi Salad to full steak dinner with excellent merlot. Same a few sips of that red wine to enjoy with their chocolate cake with raspberry, whipped cream & pecan topping. Whew. As you can witness with the photo, the servings are huge. (We took home another full meal - really.)“

“This market offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine, and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken kebab plate, which came with flavorful rice, fresh green salad, creamy hummus, and pita bread. We also tried the tabbouleh, Greek salad, and an extra chicken kebab. Everything was delicious.
The place is clean and well-kept. While the service wasn’t overly friendly, it was efficient and professional, which makes sense since it’s more of a market than a sit-down restaurant. That’s the only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five.
We ordered our food to go while visiting Ventura (staying in a hotel nearby), and we’ll definitely be back to Green Olive Ventura next time. 👍👍“

“I have to say this place is an amazing find and treasure. My husband was stationed in Greece for two years and while he was there we travelled to visit. While there we had some amazing food and oh boy do we miss it. Nothing compares to authentic Greek Cuisine and this place has it. From the Gyro to the bakery items, this place made me feel like I was back in Greece. I definitely recommend trying it out and falling in love. We will be forever customers ❤️“

“Excellent Mediterranean located inside of a liquor store. Good vegetarian options and tasty and flavorful sauces. I myself had the Lamb tri-tip plate and everything was good.
There are not many places to sit, but the prices are excellent. Overall highly recommend if you are wanting some excellent dishes and want those classic flavors“
