“The owner licked his finger I ate the shwarma anyways.

Here's the context:

I found the place on Google while traveling the coast, and decided the 4.9 stars was worth the short detour.

I walked in expecting some great customer service and instead they looked annoyed. Maybe I was interrupting something I don't know.

Ordered the shawarma wrap and while I was waiting I glanced back into the kitchen where the owner stuck his finger in some pitcher of sauce and then LICKED IT.

He knew he had been caught because he was looking directly at me when he sucked the sauce off the tip of his finger.

After that I really questioned whether I should just ask for a refund.

And all of a sudden he went from annoyed to super chipper. Asking me if I like beef and chicken or more veggies. Then suggesting a menu item for next time. Was it some sort of random code switch or did he know he was caught in the act?

I tried to get the visual out of my mind and wondering if that sauce went on my wrap and how many other sauces he has finger dip licked.

He announced my food was ready and he wished me goodbye before I even took the bag.

I've been debated whether I should just throw it in the trash.

Then I remembered how many times I lick my fingers while I cook food for my family and I was really hungry so I just freaking ate it.

Don't judge me.

And honestly it was incredible. One of the best Shwarma wraps I've ever had.

So 5 stars for the actual food.

I wouldn't eat there again after what I witnessed in that back room, but it was really tasty for a one-time thing.“

While there we had some amazing food and oh boy do we miss it. Nothing compares to authentic Greek Cuisine and this place has it. I ordered the gyro with the lamb and beef and for one the portion size was in abundance ( took me two meals to eat it!!! ) The meat was so tender; the tzatziki, the hummus and the sides that they had of a like a hot avocado (?) were so flavorful !!!
