“One of my favorite places to have lunch in Ventura. So many good choices. The gyro sandwich is massive and delicious. For a little extra, add the salad and fries, and you pretty much have two meals. The lamb gyro is great. But my favorite is probably the chicken souvlaki plate, which comes with fries that end up soaked in the juice from the chicken. The eggplant souvlaki is also tasty and a good vegetarian option.“
“I ordered the loaded fries tonight and Liddy helped me out. Great customer service. I accidentally ordered the loaded fries and forgot to add gyro meat. I realized my mistake and asked if I could get it on my fries, no such luck bc Luna doesn’t have a button for that, which really frustrating. I would have had to order a la carte gyro meat for 12-13$ if liddy hadn’t helped me out. Appreciate the customer service but Luna needs to update there POS system.“
“We attended a Greek festival near my old high school and had the food there this past august. Since then we've been looking for a place with a good gyro and this place hit the spot! It was so good and exactly what we were looking for. We've tried other places and this one comes closest to the one we had prior. It is so good and I didn't mind the tzatziki sauce at all. We enjoyed everything! Not to mention, the cashier was very patient with us. We came in about an hour before closing and she was very patient with us. We still tried to get in and out quick but she didn't seem to mind. Love this place, just wish there was one closer to us!“
“This place is great, service is excellent, you order at the front and they are efficient, good value for price, you get vegetables which is pretty much salad and included, sauces are great and big portion, only comment is I wish everything was less salty.“
“The lemon kebob chicken plate was so so delicious, the salad was very fresh and healthy. The cooks did a great job. My server was Estevan who was very helpful and professional and so was the rest of the staff. I highly recommend Luna Grill.“
“Run and get the chicken shawarma plate and the chocolate cake or apple pie now! This is the best Middle Eastern food I have tasted in California. It reminds me of the delicious food trucks we have in New York City. There is a decent amount of parking right in front of the restaurant. The decor is welcoming and tells a story of past visitors. The service was exceptional and the food is a 10 out of 10.“
“The people are very friendly and cook good. They have Thrifty brand ice cream here. It’s the only ice cream that has the good pistachio taste. All the other ice cream brands don’t even taste close to as good. This is the old school good stuff with the classic ice cream recipe taste we miss. I also taught the cashier how to say hello and thank you in Greek haha these guys have genuine smiles. I felt good here.“
“A fabulous time and place to go, these people who own and work there put their heart and soul into the atmosphere and Greek cultural experience for the patron. The food is fantastic, drinks are plentiful and not watered down. Belly dancing Greek dancing and authentic Greek music. Kid's love it, Family oriented old world experience that I imagine won't last too much longer, so go experience it while you are able, and it is still available“
